The Twilight Temple event returns this week prepare yourself for the dangers within.
This one is not for the faint of heart, as, it's tuned for Legends with high-level gear.

Corvis the Golden, a powerful necromancer, inhabits a parallel realm where no Arlorian heroes exist to stop him from capturing and enslaving lost souls! However, every thousand years, those realms intersect but for a moment--and Corvis has pierced the veil to reach through and begin enslaving the Arlorians that we all know and love.


NEW this year... the gauntlet waves have been simplified, difficulty increased, and no longer require energy to enter!

Brave the onslaught of Corvis' Realmkillers within the Twilight Temple, and follow Gustav the Black's lead into the Realm Weaver's Path to protect Arlor and free the ailing souls!


How it Works


Twilight Temple

The Twilight Temple is a gauntlet-style leaderboard event and will run for 2 weeks (1/16 - 1/30) with a 3-day cooldown. To begin, visit the Restless Spirits in Windmoore who plead for your help. Enter the Scourging Grounds to face the gauntlet: endless waves of enemies, either Solo or with a Group, earning points and tokens for each enemy defeated and bonus points for time left on each wave's 60-second timer.

Collect drops, spend tokens, craft, and climb the leaderboards to collect new vanities, titles, badges, and more.

This event is open to Legends Level 71+ - but beware, The Twilight Temple is very difficult and best for high-level and well-geared adventurers.

Note: Only your HIGHEST SCORE will count on the Leaderboards! This is not a 'point accumulation' event. Only the highest score you achieve in the "Scourging Grounds" will count towards your Leaderboard Rank. Also: Leaderboards will not reset mid-event and will run for the full 2 weeks!


Realm Weaver's Path

Visit Gustav the Black in Windmoore to learn of the true threat that has emerged...the Realm Weaver's Path. Legends of any level can enter the Realm Weaver's Path, and defeat the Lich's vicious minions and the dreaded Realm Weaver!

For an added challenge, follow in Gustav's footsteps and light the torches along the path to summon additional boss monsters in the final encounter. Bosses drop gold, and loot, and have a chance to drop the Massive Locked Crate recipe.

Note: you do not earn event points by defeating monsters in the Realm Weaver's Path. This area has been added in response to player feedback and is provided for you to collect tokens and loot (only) without the crushing time limit of the Scourging Grounds or the intense difficulty.

Banned Elixirs

To create a fun and fair event, Fish Oil Damage Elixirs and Dark Apostle Bombs can not be used inside the Twilight Temple's "Scourging Grounds" gauntlet scenario. If you have an Fish Oil elixir active before entering, the effects will be negated while inside.

6/8 blood arcanes have been released but they are not part of guaranteed loot. Provide a time for when the blood arcs will be added to guaranteed
Elix used to be 10 plat for 60minutes. Now 60 plat for 60minutes, not any different from 10 plat for 10minutes... No chance to revert to old plat price formats?
Then elixers are going to be 6m price in auction, for just the halo...

For people who don't run for top solo, give something to craft so they don't while away their time for another 2 weeks

I'm not gonna lie, you guys completely gutted this event this year. Last year had Vanities to craft for non LB players. Inventory slots etc for tokens. Not to mention LB rewards were 10x better, 2x 50 elite awakes, a really sick banner (The 2025 banner is the worst I've ever seen), 3x unlocked crates, sick titles. This year? Mega low effort. Crappy aura, titles, banners, rewards. Vanity weapons for tokens which are the same basic vanity weapons just recolored. Of course the vanity set is only lootable in locks but it doesn't matter as its super low effort and looks horrible.

Last year's event was super engaging for average geared players and Top geared players, people may have complained in forums but everyone was running event either for LB or to craft the vanities which were worth the time. I don't see any turn out this event and don't expect people to buy plat as there really isn't any thing worth spending that plat on. Also from 10 plat for a 1 hour lix to 60 plat is crazy. I know STS needs to make money to keep the game running, im a contributor myself but DAMN there is no way im spending a dollar this event if it looks like this.

Put some more effort in, I feel as if the whole team at STS is working on events a few days before the actual planned event, if anything i think people wouldn't mind a 1 week or 2 week hiatus in-between events like awake event right now every few months or so. Use that time to really put some thought and effort into event rewards, lootable gear, crafting etc. Also bring VFX back to the weapon vanities. I haven't seen a cool weapon vanity in years.

shadowbound, vampire and other its like skull dark brown call like poison ... i dont remember, they are not colorful auras and have a dark and sinister style, that's what I mean by not being colorful

This event feels very underwhelming. Especially the lb group rewards where the main difference in rewards from top 10 and top 50 is 10 elite awakening gems. At least update the rewards a bit and add a bit more for players to actually have a reason to run for. I think it’s time to switch out elite awakening gems and add arc awakening gems at least. I was very excited for this temple event only to feel let down

- This prevents alts, gives an 'LB' to show the names of players who went out of their way to run a map in party with friends which could be soloed(as seen from top solo scores). Also gives them a title for placing on lb.

Total solo and total group score were removed, the ones who impact from this are the regular players of AL who spend 10+ hours in game for the lb. A shame, honestly...

No craftables for non lb players. Just the halo ain't enough to make normal players farm event for 2 wreeks

- I went through the entire thread in the general forums. And i think this is a good conclusion devs have come to.
- You guys only read your side of the issue and are still dissatisfied. Voorge and presp600
- This prevents alts, gives an 'LB' to show the names of players who went out of their way to run a map in party with friends which could be soloed(as seen from top solo scores). Also gives them a title for placing on lb.

Total solo and total group score were removed, the ones who impact from this are the regular players of AL who spend 10+ hours in game for the lb. A shame, honestly...

No craftables for non lb players. Just the halo ain't enough to make normal players farm event for 2 wreeks

Elix plat price is too high for 60minutes and not much to loot either

No blood items in guaranteed drop from lockeds (blood item drop rate going to be low too)

This is the only event LB of the year that is meant for top players, this LB has never been for regular players. Only people who like the top 10 group rewards are people who cant even compete for them. Also I see maybe 2 of 50 comments that are positive. The group and solo rewards should be rewarding and BOUND. This is not the solution to alts, people are still gonna be using alts especially since the solo rewards aren't bound this year. Completely gutted event, Solo will be 3 players max per class, and no ones gonna run group. No competition, bad rewards, another ruined event

^^^^^^ just want to play strategically with some friends and get decent rewards for all the $$$ we spent on awakes for op gear. spending hours in a solo map is boring to some people. not asking for crazy rewards on top10 group, but 10 awakes feels like we’re intentionally being slapped in the face.

You seem to struggle with common sense. You complained about alts, (which are not prominent in group but are extremely prominent in solo), and then tell me to run solo instead of group.

Im not asking for group rewards to be on par with solo, im asking for a reward in general. The top 50 title is a reward anyone can get, group top 50 is not hard in the slightest you can get it with minimal gear. Top 10 group is not so easy and requires a combined effort and top of the line gear.

I want to start off and say how dissapointed I am to have been grinding all year, honing my skills and my gear all for this event to have one solid color theme of purple.....

To think that a ton of us were waiting for something pretty cool because we saw the love for the art when we saw claus armor and some of the Stuff from winter....

Although there were no vanities halloween, or xmas... I thought okay dont give up hope....

You're right it's a shame there isn't a dark coloured aura, but it's a bit late requesting something a week before the event goes live. Can't expect STS to adhere to your request(s) if the request is quite complex (aura, duh) requiring some serious dev time when the development of the new event items is most likely finished a week or more before it goes live.

Good top solo lb rewards
- like always badge, title, banner and vanity. No vanity set, instead an aura
- if you have problems with designs, suggest some yourself. Too much complaints for designs devs come up with every week for every new event.

Good top group lb rewards.
- I went through the entire thread in the general forums. And i think this is a good conclusion devs have come to.
- You guys only read your side of the issue and are still dissatisfied. Voorge and presp600
- This prevents alts, gives an 'LB' to show the names of players who went out of their way to run a map in party with friends which could be soloed(as seen from top solo scores). Also gives them a title for placing on lb.

Total solo and total group score were removed, the ones who impact from this are the regular players of AL who spend 10+ hours in game for the lb. A shame, honestly...

No craftables for non lb players. Just the halo ain't enough to make normal players farm event for 2 wreeks

Elix plat price is too high for 60minutes and not much to loot either

No blood items in guaranteed drop from lockeds (blood item drop rate going to be low too)

This is honestly heartbreaking lmao. I understand you guys need money to keep the game alive, in that case MAKE THINGS WORTH PAYING FOR. I have spent more money on this game than I would like to admit, gambling seems to be your main motive here, and I've only had good luck maybe 3 times out of the 12 years that I have played this game. Constantly making things more expensive, plat wise, makes me want to stop playing more and more, which is sad because I genuinely love this game. I dont mind spending money on the things I want when they're available, like auras or halos or whatever, or grinding for crafting ingredients to craft cool vanities that I would feel proud of having because I worked for them, but this is just ridiculous. I feel as though every event things are just getting worse and worse, design-wise and price-wise. The vanities and auras look like your design team went on a 4 day bender thinking it would give them ideas, and they said "F it, that's good enough". I also feel for the free to play players, as I was one of them before I grew into an adult and had a steady income. I play plenty of games, but I've always stuck with this one throughout the years. I can honestly say that this game is so expensive to enjoy that I would NEVER reccomend it to ANYBODY that I meet or am friends with. It is actually INSANE that this game has any kind of ongoing revenue at all, it's all OG players that have been around forever and can't help but fall into nostalgia. This game is a NIGHTMARE to new players, AND existing players. Simply listening to the player base would absolutely boost your revenue in my opinion, and catering to free to play players at the same time would bring an incentive to them to spend at least a little money on this game but at the rate you guys are currently operating, I see that as extremely far-fetched.


All in all, this game is cool and I enjoy playing, but holy cow does it make me sad to see where it's going.

A good fix for players not feeling rewarded enough for an event, would be to have a player suggestions thread a month before big events go live (or any amount of time before a event)

That way perhaps players can suggest what they would like to see and developers can pick and choose potential suggestions which align with their vision too. Absolutely pointless venting on forums with so much negativity. Developers are humans too. Let's try and help them make the game better.

I'm not gonna lie, you guys completely gutted this event this year. Last year had Vanities to craft for non LB players. Inventory slots etc for tokens. Not to mention LB rewards were 10x better, 2x 50 elite awakes, a really sick banner (The 2025 banner is the worst I've ever seen), 3x unlocked crates, sick titles. This year? Mega low effort. Crappy aura, titles, banners, rewards. Vanity weapons for tokens which are the same basic vanity weapons just recolored. Of course the vanity set is only lootable in locks but it doesn't matter as its super low effort and looks horrible.

Last year's event was super engaging for average geared players and Top geared players, people may have complained in forums but everyone was running event either for LB or to craft the vanities which were worth the time. I don't see any turn out this event and don't expect people to buy plat as there really isn't any thing worth spending that plat on. Also from 10 plat for a 1 hour lix to 60 plat is crazy. I know STS needs to make money to keep the game running, im a contributor myself but DAMN there is no way im spending a dollar this event if it looks like this.

Put some more effort in, I feel as if the whole team at STS is working on events a few days before the actual planned event, if anything i think people wouldn't mind a 1 week or 2 week hiatus in-between events like awake event right now every few months or so. Use that time to really put some thought and effort into event rewards, lootable gear, crafting etc. Also bring VFX back to the weapon vanities. I haven't seen a cool weapon vanity in years.

Game is probably shutting down so they putting less effort into events and trying to rack profits without losing much and gain something before totaly going away with the game

Just because u claim u didnt do alts on group lb, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. You can take the twilight temple lb names and check the names of warrs and rogs even. The ones who are capable of getting points(ones with gear) get multiple alt accs on multiple classes too. Unlike top solo, its 30 spots on the top group lb, ez abuse
There have been multiple attempts of people trying to 'buy' slots on group lb since its just using aa( or assistance) and sitting in the corner for rogs/warrs(if mage carries)/mages (if warrs carry). Idk if you received the offers but you should have atleast heard of them. Its 3b+ in gold, and some even offer dollars for it
Friends are max geared but do not want to participate in top solo. Its their choice to not run top solo. Cant blame that on group not having equivalent rewards to make up for your 2 friends who choose on their own volition to not run the solo lb

Even just a copy/paste of prior temple where we could CRAFT VANITY would be dope! That was amazing, and personally I played so damn much during that time farming vanities.

As someone who is 50k plat away from gold title I fr am losing motivation to spend my money on this game when each event is worse and worse.

This temple might not be as rich on loot as the one in 2024, but it is still way, way better than first couple of temple events. It was always about flexing names on top of lb, don't be too greedy about making lots of profit for minimum work from lb rewards.

In the end, ive summed up what you guys wanted; like previous years, need to get top10 group since you want to spend hours running top group and not trying top solo with your gears.

If they add total group next time, put the same amount of time you spend on top group like previous years, its definitely going to get all 3 of you spots on total group AND as a bonus get placed on top group score for your best run.

You consider top group as the main focus of temple event owing to the fact that you chose not to run top solo.
So many options to actually get 'rewarded' for gears, skills and time spent on temple lb; But you are still stuck on top 10 group score.
Not to mention, your friend said he did top solo and top group in the twilight temple event. Nothing is stopping you from doing the same this event.
Treat group as additional reward not the prime reward.

I believe the reason for the constant plat sale is the aggressive monetisation that they are implementing
they can see our satisfaction with the value we get from the money we spend is very low so they're trying to help with that somewhat but it's not enough
maybe the psychological factor has a play here as well: people are more likely to spend if they see a "sale"

I don't do much endgame pve(hedo, indigo or whatever) with the exception of the recently added cursewood mythic dungeons I guess
as for regular events those are very easy and if I do play for an hour or two sometimes it's not like I need all the best gear to run those
since the first temple I've been gearing up mostly for these temple-like top score events
so yes if these events were to not happen anymore or have joke rewards like they do right know I wouldn't bother as much or spend nearly as much money on the game
to gear up and get the best jewels/pets etc.

This temple might not be as rich on loot as the one in 2024, but it is still way, way better than first couple of temple events. It was always about flexing names on top of lb, don't be too greedy about making lots of profit for minimum work from lb rewards.
