Rogue's are extremely helpful if they are at a long distance, hitting crits at elite bosses while 2 tanks and a mage are attacking.

i m placing d attribut points in 2:3 for int/dex. so det my rogue wont die out of mana. i.e it should b 30int nd 45dex wen u hit 16

Yeah except that the build is too weak and a mana pit. Try something like str1 dex2 int1 and see how you feel about it.

Being forced to use a mana pot after every skill would make a quite expensive and also slow rogue I guess. Tho if you posted the pic to show off your 25 crit, most of it comes from the arrow buff and not from the dex build. I do like that your 800 health isn't overdone, some rogues run around with 1.5k health.

Furthermore, dodge is bugged for rogue atm, I don't see a point investing too much in it

I run a full int rouge and do fine with it the 1000+ mana helps a lot. Running it with Malison and full champion gear. I also run a full int warrior and I would never consider a str warrior or dex rouge you have no idea how much fun a full int character outside of mage is.

Rouge's also got screwed on their mana regen value even with flapjack they regen way slower than a warrior.

I do about 10 points into int, then 2 to 3 Str to dex. It works wonders when I grab aggro off warriors :-$. Thinking of doing more strength and int so I stop pulling aggro, too much damage

Anyways, Mana is important now, I just never realized it , it became annoying to me this morning when I started spamming my mana pots. But what can I do? I have no plats to reset it, the more we can level after 16, the more reliable statistics we can have. and no I'm not a platinum user.

but I'm just saying, in my own point of view, having a high percentage of criticals can be a big help when doing elite. You stay at a distance and let tanks do the close up attacks.

but let's see, I'm waiting for this content update soon.

I use 4 nox and 5 aimed. Spamming them from a distance always gets me aggro. Even with 3 warriors in the party. Damage isn't always the best if you have to kite and annoy your party.

if you dont get aggro.. it means your damage output not great enough.. then what's the point of having you such a easily die +small output teammate in elite? you either contribute to the team by killing faster or stay alive and tank it

Only bad thing about aggro is your teammates. A rogue can't tank elite jarls red area attack unless you dodge. So you have to run around avoiding your teammates trying not to get them killed by the red attack, while spamming your range attacks. Great if your team knows that, but on random games people yell at me for running.

But with a good team we were killing below two minutes. We had a warrior, Mage and rogue.

I put almost half my points in Str and some in int and my damage is still 78. With 935 health 700 sonething mana. Better then 88 damage, 400 health and 300 mana.

950+ hp, 700+ mp, 410 armor, 78 damage, 13 dodge, 10 crit. I think investing points in int and str is smart, not "out of my mind". To each his own though. No build is wrong.

..but the equipment is making a big difference :> with my build i did always hit only about 20-40 and i wondered why almost all other Rogues where so much better but since i bought for example that Lifethief thing i see the difference... now i also hit up to 200 without using skills ö-ö

I put 61 strength, 121 dexterity, and 15 Intelligence, and it really sux at mana, but who cares?:( it will be regenerate while ur stopped battling:cool:

Skills are important and is good to have at least 30-50 INT (including gear)

A good rogue knows that Aim shot + the critical buff is a rogue's best friend.
Keep that up for Elite runs such as Village and you can clear the boss fast.

Later on when doing dailies, you can pretty much skill KO mobs solo and it also speed things up significantly.
Running around doing normal attacks and bossing with low crit is kinda stupid.
