why do badges now have a black circle behind them?
They would look better or normal if the new badges that come secured in the locked ones did not have that circle...

100% agree. Love the designs lately, but I'm not digging the black circle background as well. Feels like a drawing canvas that was forgotten to hide after the finished product!

Wanted to do this sooner before the effects of the badge became permanent, like my Christmas jetpack :( with no emoji button.

Since the ideas are added to existing threads maybe it’s a good idea to remove the black background.
