When you alt tab to for example youtube/discord arcane legends closes after like 30 seconds on pc. This is very annoying, sometimes I just want to send trade message on chat once in 2 minutes and watch yt and right now im forced to switch tabs every 30 sec or my game gonna close. Make the game play in background ty

I run into that too. What I do is make sure AL is in its own window and part of that window is always visible.
What browser are you using?

On android it used to disconnect after 2 minutes too, now it is 40 seconds which is better to be honest.
If only we had an option to tune that inactivity timeout on the client side that would be great but oh well no plans for this 😢

Im using brave, i guess that method could work but i wont be able to use full screen on other browser tabs or discord/games. Is there any way to make it play on background with no downsides?

We'd have to look. It was Chrome that changed their behavior of allowing tabs to run in the background when not visible.

This may work better with the next version (2.8.23), depending on browser.

Use Firefox and have atleast a minimum of 16gb ram on your pc, I can leave al open in a different tab for hours and it won't log me out. Chrome on the other hand uses 10 trillion tb of ram yet won't keep your tabs open like RAM is supposed to do. Chrome makes no sense.

Why not make a client for pc version? We could have a better hotkeys mapping customiztion.

They don't want people editing files, usually on a client side downloaded game you can edit the files to that game. Mainly the textures and audio, sometimes code and scripts.
