Everyone could use a hug now and then, except the legendary Hugthulu and Hugthulu Prime. They're back, but it's up to you if you'll accept their deadly embrace.


Getting Started


Speak to Cupid in Windmoore to learn more about the Lovecrafting Event and the huggable threat that Arlor faces. He'll direct you to the portal where you can spend energy to enter the event zone.

Make your way through the map defeating enemies and the Merfkin mini-boss to collect L, O, V, and E candy letters. These can be crafted into event tokens, or a Love Letter to summon the second boss, Hugthulu Prime (more on him in a second).

Then, get ready for a fight! Hugthulu awaits.

Head back to Windmoore to chat with Remmi Amor for quests to gain extra tokens. She has 3 quests (2 daily) to complete.

This two-week event will begin on Thursday, February 6th, and run through Thursday, February 20th, with a 3 day cooldown.


Event Scoring and Tier Rewards


Killing Hugthulu gives you Tier Points. Climb through Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum Tiers for awesome rewards! At Gold Tier and above, use a Love Letter (crafted from Parchment Paper and L-O-V-E candy letters) to summon Hugthulu Prime at his altar! Killing Hughtulu Prime gives you significantly more Tier points.

Note: Hugthulu Prime is a Level 86 Boss only. While his level will scale, his stats will be equivalent to Lvl 86 no matter what level you are.

There's no Variety with plat tier rewards in events anymore, Always just some trash wisp that will never be worn and will be worth 300k. Where's the auras or vanity sets? Now, that i've spent gold on thing/s i did not need you release gold loot jewels, eh. I like them and ofc i must have them. It is a good thing to keep me active. :-)

I have to say that last 3 vanity armors (for warrior) looked very good, and the one from Love event belongs to same category! I usually do not collect vanities, but i have bought temple armor, grove armor and i am going to get Blind love armor as well. I like design of armor vanities lately.

Lately you have been adding a lot of auras and halos, in my opinion, very ugly, with flat designs and filler auras. I would like to see less quantity but more quality. It's just constructive criticism. Although if that's how you want to decorate your game, I guess that's fine. I guess going back to where absolutely all the vanity designs were good is something impossible. Hopefully an option to individually hide the selected vanities. I'm sure it would hide quite a few designs from recent years.

Not that I disagree about the design part of the recent lb, but you are not obliged by anyone to spend 20 hours daily running it, and I also reinforce that the worse the rewards, the less time is needed to stay in the lb, as noted previously during winter.

Why each Valentine event has to be tacky idk... Something elegant not in pink can't be contemplated? Anyway seems i'll stop at silver cause there is literally nothing at gold or plat tier that can be categorized as "awesome reward"...

I just noticed that materials looted from last evemt like gold merkfin vials was removed from inventory. This item had no countdown and i desided to keep on my hardcore to try loot more mext year to craft the badge. These vials were extremely hard to loot. And imo almost impossimble from one person to loot all needed to craft the badge,even running top5 lb with elixir in all runs. I wonder who takes these dessisions. Pls find just one person,with basic knowledge of the game, that can give u proper advice about simple things. Bring all these materials u removed ,propably with a silent update. Thanx

New Goldloot gems is stackab with Maker? And it removable? Since jewel not stone/gem.

They stack any other gems other than themselves and with themselves up to the stack limit. They are also removable.


Does jewel lootable with elix no matter what the tier is?

Yes, as long as you have the elixir, the jewels are lootable.

These types of items were meant to expire (not meant to be carried/reused from event to event).

Im sorry but ur reply is not acceptable. If they were meant to expire then put the countdown like its meant to those kind of items. Since u didnt and u found out just couple hours before event starts, then fix it after event finishes. So we would have the chance to sell. Some of these materials were acquired by using platinum. U cannot get them if u dont use elixirs. I spend many elixirs to manage to loot those mats. Since they so hard to loot if i knew they expire ,i ld never keep trying to get as many as possible. It makes no sense for elixirs to be allowed to use in next events but the mats looted only with using the same elixir to expire. Even it was a mistake ,u dont make a second one to fix the first one. Be more considerate please in the future. This way of dealing things really sux. I dont think anyone really needs to hear an apology but it would be nice that the company acknowledge and apologise when they make a mistake. Professionaly speaking.

I am indeed sorry for the inconvenience and sorry for the confusion! It was my mistake.

Unfortunately, materials like these must expire in order to maintain balance and to keep event interest high.

We will do our very best to ensure that any expiring event item has the appropriate labels (though we will, from time to time, make mistakes).

Some of those were plat related, so i need to insist and be irritating to repeat myself that these specific items MUST NOT be considered in category that should be expired. U fixed the removal of plat related badges in hardcore mode. Its same case. Respect the money we spend in your game. Gold Merkfin vials are 100% plat related items. They should not have been removed or be expirable materials. I dont know why you consider that these ruin the balance. It was the hardest item to loot in this event. You can check data how many they were left in players inventories. Im sure they less than 10.
Respectfully trying to make my point clear. Claws also were hard to loot so considering balance they dont make a diference. Sorry for bother but i need to request to reconsider abt these items.

Any item that expires should have an expiration date on it. These items did not have that info and that was my mistake. So we will restore them. It may take us until some time after the event has started to restore all the items - but not too long :-)

When you see your items restored you will also see an expiration date that corresponds to the ending of the 2025 Lovecrafting event.
