Ok, I started farming on Elite Village since I discovered the glory of finding elite chests. Now, I've been doing it for a few days now and I've noticed how there are some people who leech. 3 people chopping on the boss and this one other person standing in the back doing NOTHING. At the end of all the frustration and agony of watching them stand there... they get elite chests. I wanted to pull my hair out and I'm still upset about this. Just a few minutes ago I was there with all this happening... so I though," that's it!" Now, I don't know really how to fix this and it's also taking the fun out of farming for me. That's all I have to say, this is my first ever rage thread/post so yeah... Please share some thoughts about this problem. Thanks guys ;)

It happens and it sucks but we can't do anything about it :-/.

creating a party of your friends, guildmates isn't your choice, is it?

Random games you don't know who you run with all the time. And what if all friends and guildmates are off or busy, random games or solo it is.

How is it possible to, have Randomers join Elite maps... choose more wisely.

If they leech, kick from party.. simple as.

I know this is going to be a real newbie question, but I gotta ask, HOW does one join an elite dungeon group?

I see the option on my map, but all the dungeons are locked, and when I click to teleport to the starter/ending town, it just reverts me back to regular mode. Any help would be appreciated! (just started playing a couple days ago D: )

Locked until Lvl 15. No way to join randomly, which makes the irony of the one post here very entertaining.

Thanks. Makes sense.

Always best to ask ;)

Make sure you take a "good" team with you on your first ever run there, the difficulty is close to x3 or more than a regular map.

See red... DODGE, one hit kills from Archer's/Sorcerer's.

Random games. Joining an elite map without a party and going with who joins. Oh how ironic? Yeah okay.

By entering them without a party, you are asking for it become a PUG run. Or you could just kill the first enemy... timer starts... no pug. (Doesn't take long to get to first mob in any map.. just sayin)

Yes it's better to get a party BUT, many people prefer not to join parties and guild members are mostly doing some other stuff. This is where a lobby is a good option. If we had lobbies I'd make rooms and if anyone leeches, KICK. Easy as that.

Yes. Same thing. I don't see any irony. But still, people who don't want to solo and don't have friends/guildmates on tend to join random games. Soloing elites is hard, thats why people wait for others to join most of the time. Just saying as well.

Are the developers considering to add lobbies?

Basically a thread to try get it like PL/SL.. no point in having grps, if that's the case.

Then we have, so and so booted me for no reason... again.

If the rogue is or mage is hidding is fine cuz we have long range attack, if the warrior is doing nothing or any other class, pull the boss and let them get hit, thats what i do

No, they stay still not doing anything. I watch them for some time to consider them leeching. Helpful mage and rogue heal and throw health packs. It's sad I can't take a screenshot, otherwise I'd have a lot of examples.

There's only one thing you can do, especially if you're in the tough spot of no regular friends/guild mates to party with. First, always be sure they are leeching - as others said, it can be easy to mistake a Sorcerer for a leech if you're focused on fighting a boss. Send them a tell and ask them what the heck they were doing, or do something that should deserve a response and make sure they know you were watching.

Then, once you know they were intentionally leeching you simply write down or take note of the names of the leecher... then you blacklist the hell out of them!

Spread their name to everyone you know and tell people they leech, and make sure if you ever see them in any zone again that you point them out for what they are. Let everyone else in the zone know so they don't get screwed, then either tell them to get lost or leave and then privately re-invite the others to join a different instance.

This is the traditional way of handling scammers of any kind because you help the community protect themselves, and you also prevent them from enjoying any benefits they may have gotten from screwing others. Just be sure you give them a chance to answer so you don't accidentally end up blacklisting them because you thought they were maybe doing nothing, when really you got upset that someone else got the loot you wanted.

One rogue, I believe has a name that starts with "Wind." He/She insults me as they get Elite Gold and Silvers...

Another way is for system to kick the player out if they afk for a min without doing anything.

Some wait for you to half life the boss then they come.
