Because it probably counts minibosses and bosses less strictly than this LB event.

TBH I am not opposed to the idea of letting mini-bosses count for Boss Hunt in the future (for like half points). It would be fun :-)

Ok then but mini boss from krak isles windmoore harbor doesn’t count for boss count so not every mini is working correctly

Mini-boss monsters do NOT count as bosses in this event.

Are we talking about the same stuff? :-)

I was saying that in a future run of this event we could extend our score threshold to include mini-boss monsters and not strictly count "boss" monsters.

If the latest update was supposed to fix Elite SG chest drop, it did not. I just ran it on 3 toons and none of them got even 1 event chest from the twins, much less 2. None of the other players did either. No event points awarded.

On the plus side, double cryo coins seems to be working. :D

It's not out yet. "We'll get this fixed" is not the same as "It's fixed, try it again." Look for this in patch notes in a future update.

Lots of minibosses in Brackenridge. Look for the red circle.

That makes no sense. That means that the first 3 Brackenridge maps have no 'actual' boss following your logic.
Each map should have a main boss. Now people are just going to skip these maps because you get no event crates from the bosses.

That's a design fault on your guys part.

Look at the Kraken maps or Nordr maps, they also have mini bosses like Brackenridge maps. And at the end of the level a actual boss.

Like @Sampep also said, they count towards APS 1K boss kills. Which they should, because they are small versions of a boss.
So they should also drop event crates then.

Lol. That's just not true. You guys made that design decision for the event.

It's really simple. You let bosses AND mini bosses drop event crates.
OR
You only let bosses drop event crates. BUT
Then you have to rename mini-bosses to maybe like Guards or a different name.
And also not let them count towards APS boss kills.

We all very well know you guys make these event decision choices.
So don't blame the game for it lol.

Each map should have a main boss. Everyone should be able to run every map.
Now players need to remember which maps does have a main boss and which doesn't.
That's just not good.

I need to create a new set (that takes 1 hotbar) just to utilize the proc of the new bracelet because you didn't listen to the 'no cooldown' suggestion. There is space below the first two hotbar columns for two new rows, each containing two hotbars.

Maps should have different styles of monster content. Demanding that every map in the game be reworked because it doesn't conform to a template that fits this weekend LB event doesn't make sense.

I mentioned in an earlier response, I think it could be fun to include mini-bosses in a future "Boss Hunt" event (and set them up to offer fewer points and drop a different, lesser event chest) - and we'll consider it for next time.

As for the AP's, I'm okay with the inconsistency here because it is a nice thing to do for players chasing AP's. I believe players would react very negatively to me taking this away from their Seasonal pursuits.

This event is just a whole mess.
Chests shouldn't give points.
We need a notification (symbol) next to a map level so you can see if you can find bosses there who drop points/chests.
Some mini-bosses give points/chests and some don't, this is just too confusing for such a simple event.

Before copy pasting every event, maybe check if there's maybe anything you can improve/change about an event
You know, like listening to players feedback, the people you need because otherwise you have no game and you can pack your bags.

Ty for that. Reanimated Krax when appearing in 1st mini boss spot in Timekeepers also does not drop boss/event chest. Might be same issue

It was high time u made an event that actually gives players a chance to progress and earn gold by actually playing and not grinding the same 20 second rounds on and on or by paying real money.
Ofc, by Murphy's law you made it only a 3-day event.
However it's a good start.
I don't remember the last time I saw so many players online and all the maps of Arlor full of people.

I like playing this event for time to time.
It gave me a reason to play all maps from brackeringe to zodias.
I could rediscover the story of arcane legend that made me nostalgeous.
I wish we could have cursed version of the old maps with good loot that is not gold.

But mini-bosses in elite time crypt (Mausoleum) do give points and chests.

Not sure what you all are seeing but the ONLY boss/mini boss that drops anything for me in Brakenridge is E Jarl. All other bosses and maps give nothing no points no chests

Fun event. It made me realize how short 1 hour is... I kill a few bosses to get some chests, log off, and by the time I'm done, it's already time for the next hourly gathering. One thing i dislike is cracked - weak rarity inside of chests. I can loot hundreds of those quickly from certain maps.

They finally fixed after what 13 years? They need to look at every boss in the game.
Actually have all main bosses have a red circle around them. Mini-bosses the (yellow/green mixed) color.
It's not hard and needs to be done so it's not confusing to new/beginner players.
Especially for this boss hunt event, they need to have this fixed for next year.

Follow up to my previous post requesting better chance to loot Heroic Sble. I’ve opened 2k chests and no Heroic Sable or Arc Bracelet so far.

If you don’t want to increase the drop rate would you consider adding H Sable to the leaderboard rewards?

I don't know anything about hardcore characters.

I just like having 1 character.

Unlike a lot of whales running LB with mutiple characters on the same account.

It's an "ok" event imo. It benefited both casual and addict players. Maybe on next arlor boss hunt event, top 1 reward will be the Boss' aura ? (The red circle that we see from main bosses)

This is a final follow up post. After no responses on either of my previous posts, I don’t expect a response here and this is not a dig nor a formal complaint. You know where I’ve defended devs for their need to earn a living the same as the rest of the world so please understand that this is simply for feedback/data.

I ran the event on my hc mage coming in 15th, so roughly middle of the pack. That said, I opened roughly 2,635 chests solely from running and at the end of the event I got zero H Sable eggs and zero Arcane items. From event chests I got 2 mythic Zodias 1k points and 2 legendary arch avenger jewels. Again, I ran knowing that this could happen and my end goal was the Flawless mind jewel and the Badge. Thanks for reading.

I like this event. It always makes me nostalgic to run through the old maps. But in the end, every map plays exactly the same - zero difficulty whacamole. Some sort of old maps rewamp is just begging to happen.
Now, the droprates. About 3000 chests opened - 0 braces, 0 sables, 0 archon jewels. I don't mind low droprates for braces (and eggs) - if there aren't enough lvl1 bracelets for everyone, people might just give up on the whole twink thing and maybe even try endgame pvp - at least capeo will be happy, haha. But making a legendary (and not overwhelmingly strong) jewel so rare that only a few dozen people will use it (and most of them - twinks) - that's a bad decision. In fact, almost every event lately has an example of an unreasonably low droprate for an item that should be widely accessible: winterforged set could've found some use, but the crafting components were unreasonably rare and expensive for a gimmick set; 1.75 maker speed set met the same fate; now jewels... These items will never outcompete arcanes and mythics from lockeds, but they can add some much-needed variety to the gameplay, if there's enough of them, that is. Gear is meant to be actively used, not stored in a museum.
