Hello everyone,

I would like to make some suggestions for improving this forum website.

We should be able to delete our own forum threads.
Or make it so closed threads are automatically deleted after a certain amount of time.
Also many threads are old and should be closed but they're still open.

This need massive fixing.

It's super frustating to see open threads and then read someone say: Thread closed.
Or: items sold.

It's 2025, come on. This website feels super outdated.

So let us be able to delete our own threads or actually design a system that works.
A system that automatically deletes closed threads.
And a system that closes threads in a better way.

What's the point in having this whole mess of closed threads laying around everywhere...?

I've changed my mind about this topic.

Don't need help anymore with this.

This would be useful if it were the case: in 90% of the post sales of items, no one ever offers anything, no one ever sets a public price, everything is done privately, they are not tired of seeing people asking for offers instead of giving their price

We have 15 years of history among 10+ games here.

That said, we do have some automated things that help us manage threads:
+ Trader's Market threads are auto-deleted after 1y (we keep this around for history)
+ Trader's Market threads auto-close if the OP posts twice in a row.
+ Non-Trader's Market threads auto-close after 30d of inactivity.

There are things I don't like, for example, I hate the separate logins.

Unfortunately, due to the lack of migration options, we're kinda stuck with this version of vbulletin. It is not cost effective to move to another system (or even upgrade to the latest version of vbulletin).
