Speed runs!

Ok you realm-record holders...share a little insight on how to run something faster!

I consistently average approx. 40-45 seconds on the first wave of the Hauntlet. This is constant on all characters, all group combos, etc.

Trying to fight towards/at the next room entrance doesn't appear to work because of spawns that always occur behind the progression.

Difficulty scales, but how does it do so?
Number of players?
Level of players?
Do dormant players matter? (group players not in zone)

Just rifling some thoughts and totally open to elaboration...

Hm my group usually gets through in 34-40 seconds. We have been trying to shave that down though. I wouldn't mind hearing suggestions as well.

significant ability factors? (over gearing)
fight logistics?

I did the same, you can finish in 35 sec but need to run to the next room..

My PR is 2 min 12 sec. 889 milliseconds - I would post a screenshot but I am done for the night and it never works when I post pics on here eh.

I did this with a group of warriors.

First area cleared was in 38 seconds with randoms..

Because of this post I went to check my time at the hauntlet and did another run with a group of randoms... Just did it in 2 min 33 sec 223 milliseconds.

I think the key is have a full team of warriors, you need someone with horn of renew that has the taunt skill to group all of the enemies.
Everybody must have near best end game gear.
Everyone was using Veng Blood and whirlwind and we demolished the mobs.
Go on when it says area clear even if enemies are left.
Only go for boss on last area.
Use hammer to speed to the next area.
And BAM hauntlet time near 2 min.
Now add an elixer or 4 and now you have under 2 min.
I dont want to pay for one and get my friends to buy one so meh.

You may need mana pots, I didnt because of my gear.

Also I hope people are noticing that the community is getting much better at the game! When I play with randoms now it isnt frustrating at all, people have learned you need each other to survive (heal/buff/tank etc)
