I wouldn't normally recommend smashing eggs on purpose, but my one exception is...the Arlorian Egg Hunt! It's another year to smash the machines, find the eggs, craft the things, and right the wrongs!

What's New

There are some changes to the mechanics of this year's event. Check out the details below!

- Tier Point Thresholds have been lowered! It takes fewer points to get to each tier than in previous years!
- Platinum Egg Eggstravaganza! We are giving away much more platinum than in previous years!
- 300,000 Platinum Eggs will be available at the event's start; collect them before they are all found!
- Platinum Eggs will grant 2 platinum when opened; this means we're giving away 600,000 platinum!
- Platinum Egg drop rate has been increased greatly!


Developer Notes:

These changes were made to the Egg Hunt event to provide more looted Platinum Eggs for everyone while increasing how much platinum is given away. It will still take days (likely over 7 days) for all the Platinum Eggs to be looted; there is no need to worry that you need to participate in the first few hours of the event to loot any Platinum Eggs.

Overview

This is an Energy/ Leaderboard event. Energy Portals to The Egg Farm are open in towns all across Arlor. Destroy Egg Machines found on The Egg Farm for a variety of eggs.

The event runs for two (2) weeks with no reset.

Open these eggs for prizes, goodies, and Egg Hunt Points to reach various rewarded tiers and climb the leaderboards for great rewards!

Event Zone

You will be traveling to the Headquarters of Bun-Bun, the world's angriest rabbit. Bun-Bun is invulnerable, and he will chase you around, causing damage and stunning you for the audacity of wanting to smash his machines. If you want to avoid the stun, you can purchase the Egg Smash Elixir!

The Egg Smash Elixir will not prevent you from taking damage, but it will make you immune to the Bun-Bun Stun.
In addition, the Egg Smash Elixir gives you +15% event score and a +50% damage (stacking) in the Egg Farm zone.

Your mission is to destroy as many egg machines as possible. The machines will drop all colors (except gold) of Arlorian Eggs, including Platinum Arlorian Eggs. Open these eggs for various goodies as well as Egg Hunt Points.

- Green Eggs (Always drops): Event Points, Gold
- Blue Eggs (Always drops): Event Points, Jewels, Orc Fangs, Ankhs.
- Red Eggs (Starts dropping at Silver Tier): Event Points, Currency, Lightbearer Rank, Zodias Faction, and the Gold Egg Recipe.
- Purple Eggs (Starts dropping at Gold Tier): Many Event Points, Jewels, Crafting Speed-Ups, Gold
- Platinum Eggs (Starts dropping at Platinum Tier): 2 Platinum, Many More Event Points

Occasionally in red eggs you will find a recipe for a Golden Egg. The recipe for the Gold Arlorian Egg is worth its weight in gold indeed. Craft 20 normal eggs into a gold egg.

Open gold eggs for a chance at:

- 5,000 to 9,000 Gold
- 25 Ankh (25 plat value)
- 5 Respec Scrolls (25 plat value)
- 5 Dragkin Teeth
- 3 Glintstone Coins
- Crafting Speedups (up to 2 hours)!
- Pet XP Kits (bound - up to 50 XP)!
- Mythic Arlorian Soft-Shelled Band (up to level 81)
- Mythic Bunny Spirit Rings of Fortune (level 86 only)

300k is way more than the eggs dropped in previous years, that's for sure, the limit is probably because the drop rate is significantly increased, not bad at all, seems to be more neutral change in my opinion, atleast people will complain less about rng this time.

This whole "don't clap back at the guy who criticizes you all the time" thing doesn't really help in the development of real relationships - so I'm not gonna play that.

Event doesnt started yet so lets see what will happen but in my opinion 300k plat eggs is for 1000 good grinding people so seems way not enough for everyone (hope I'm wrong..). Many players including me was waiting for Easter event the most. Tier rewards, lb, auras seems good but the most worries is about plat eggs the most important part I would say of the event. What they will include this year? I wonder thoose 2 plats will be the minimal amount to get right? 2 plats as main reward would be really disappointing.

I guess the event recently has improved a lot and would considered it as OP if it is released before Rusk event, if you compared with Twilight Templar LB event which only players with the best gears get to win. Vanities and LB rewards from Rusk event probably set the standards to a whole new level great job to the design team!

I feel the new plat egg is system is fine as it locks in the amount of plat flowing into the game(too much inflow might cause a chaos in prices). It’s also very contradicting to say 300k is too less to share and the game is dead at the same time. Think about it :)

Math says if u open five eggs, at an approx cost of say 300k per egg, because its a pretty standard conversion of 1-1.5m per 10 plat, you will get guaranteed 10 plat.at a cost of 1.5m.. If you open five of the 2024 eggs, at 2m an egg approx, u get 15 plat lat at a cost of 10m. Cuz odds were always junk you would get more than the minimum.
This is now basically currency, should drop prices of all store bought item kits as well, cuz u can just buy some of those 300,000eggs floating around... Far reaching implications without the aspect of luck involved.. you sure @sts u wanna tag ur saleable kit market?

Giving away 600k plat? I have seen players spend more then u give away^^ even double to tripple.

Unless the plat egg prices dont go way down with these changes thereÂ’s no reason to worry. 300 stacks sure doesnÂ’t seem much. But looking at the last 5 rich players of this dead game that nobody plays anymore, it should be enough. Just do the math lets say thereÂ’s 3.000 players who will grind the event like crazy. ThatÂ’s 100 plat eggs for each. At estimated 500k each egg, its 50m new players can obtain by just owning a speed set and only selling plat eggs.
Can u consider after the pool of 300k has been found, that u give every 24h another pool of 15-30k?

Also with all the new movement speed and dmg players have, especially in random, they will finish the map within 10 sec leaving others behind not being able to catch the loot. Can u improve the loot drop range so its not an ego race?

This event, as in every year, is an opportunity to collect gold and to save and if I agree with something, it is that the pay to win factor affects the lb and a simple solution would be ..... Put a payout leaderboard, that is, the people who open locks add up to that table and the people who run with effort and hours of dedication add up to the other one just like that.
In short, the event is fine, but they should put a payout leaderboard and another for effort

HAnd for sts that tm would be a win win because people are motivated to win the paytable and their effort players don't complain about the paytowin

What is the stance on having no Arcane Kraken Gear/Weps flowing into the game right now? The guaranteed loot doesn't seem to include it. We all know how easy it is for the hoarding/price manipulation to start creeping in when items are limited in its influx. Just check auction and it's very easily identifiable for which items it's happening live. (Elemental sets going from 200-300 per full set to just the amulets alone being 600+ now, after the keys to open change lol....)

The new Blood Gear is supposed to drop Kraken gear which is outdated (and nerfed), yet its increasing by the minute. Please start thinking from the perspective of players too when making bold and sudden changes to game logic and mechanics. Thanks in advance!

No one opens old crates which contain Krak Gear when new crates have better items in them, makes no sense to do so. And Catacombs is not an option. No one has time to farm all day hoping a specific item of your class drops.

P.S- Event looks great. Hopefully every one gets a chance to loot some plat eggs when playing.
