15 years, and this is the anniversary event we get? Players who’ve stuck with PL for so long were expecting something special, but all we got was recycled items from another game, a lazy recolored set, and a new ‘LGBTQ+’ title (which is just... what?). Honestly, this feels like a slap in the face to the community. The leaderboard reward has been the same for the third year in a row, and it’s not even tradeable—seriously? If you're going to celebrate 15 years, at least give us something that shows appreciation for the players who’ve kept this game alive. This event could’ve been a huge moment, but instead, it just left us disappointed.

"Instead of just recycling content, exclusive title for a minority of the community. here’s what we were hoping for and what the community actually wants to see:"

1. Title Changes: The title should be something coveted and inclusive of all communities, for example (TITAN, TRY-HARD, etc..)
2. Birthday Shield: An arcane rarity shield that completes crafted sets but with lower stats than mythical. The twist? Its passive boosts Dragkin Terror campaign chest drops to 2-5 Fangs per chest and guarantees points on the Venomous Dragkin weekly quest while boosting weekly quest points. We had similar shields in the past that helped with Mad Mage quests, so it’s not a new concept, but one that players really enjoyed and would love to see again.
3. Quality of Life Updates: Make improvements to the stash—add a search and rarity filter and allow sorting by tabs (helmets, armors, crafting materials, vanities, etc.), just like the consignment store and inventory.
4. Tradeable Slots: Add tradeable inventory, stash, and consignment store slots to improve flexibility and to support both free-to-play (F2P) players and platinum spenders. Also, give plat spenders something that allows them to make gold off their investments, like a way to monetize their items or efforts in-game.
5. Rewards for Supporters: Special titles and perks for players who’ve spent a significant amount of platinum (the “whales” who help keep the game alive). For example, the ability to change name colors or other exclusive rewards based on spending.
6. New Guild Role: Add a Co-leader role with the ability to promote/demote officers and start guild events.
7. More Customization: Add new faces and makeup options, including a hair color option for mages.
8. More Slots: Additional slots for the consignment store, stash, and quick chat.
9. Community Suggestions: Incorporate other suggestions made by the community in the forums to show that feedback is valued.

I share the same frustration as many others in the community, including the RuinedKing, as we all feel deeply disrespected by the lack of attention given to the feedback that has been pouring in from the community. It’s incredibly disheartening that after all this time, the voices of the players are still not being prioritized when it comes to improving and evolving the game.

Let’s put this into perspective: 15 years for a mobile game is an extraordinary achievement. This milestone is something most console games, with far larger budgets and teams, never reach. For reference, very few mobile games survive past their first few years, let alone thrive for over a decade. Games like Angry Birds and Clash of Clans are notable examples of mobile games that have adapted and evolved over time, keeping their communities engaged with regular updates and improvements. Yet, we’ve seen little progress in PL despite its long history.

This anniversary isn’t just another date; it’s a moment for celebration, reflection, and, most importantly, for the developers to acknowledge the community that has stood by the game for so long. A community is built on mutual respect and communication. Unfortunately, it feels like that connection has been neglected for a while now.

The suggestions that have been raised – from improved gameplay features to better community engagement – are not just trivial ideas; they are the key to keeping the game alive and enjoyable for the players who have dedicated years of their time to PL. Implementing these changes could turn the anniversary celebration into something truly special, showing the players that their loyalty and feedback matter.

15 years is a huge deal, and it should be celebrated by making this anniversary about us – the players who have supported the game. I completely agree with everyone’s complaints, typically when a company is making revenue or a profit off of their product they will reinvest a portion of that into the game, we unfortunately aren’t seeing that here in PL, we give countless ideas for this game to improve it in a positive manner and feel that it’s all being ignored. simple QOL updates should be in the works and we just aren’t seeing that effort from your team. 15 years is a huge landmark, can we please see some effort from your dev team rather than recycling items and bringing over items from other games. please don’t take these suggestions as complete criticism, we are trying to be respectful and constructive but unfortunately still feel ignored.

I'm not on the copium galaxy gas some others are on so here's my take. It's Pocket Legend's 15th birthday coming up, and we're seeing the same LB rewards for the third time in a year now. The only difference being titles.
Like c'mon guys, we gave y'all ideas ahead of time of what we wanna see implemented for this special anniversary. This game has been on life support and held up by faithful players who long for new fresh content, you gotta give us what we want or else yes, this game will be a thing of the past. You guys can do it! Pluh~!

I cannot pretend like I am not appreciative of new content being added to the game. It is cool to see some of these new vanities even if they are mostly recycled arcane legends assets. However. We, as the last remaining players of a dying community, need some sort of incentive to play the events with a modicum of interest. These new items, at a bare minimum, should not be just presented to us in the vendor as an easy way for STS to make a buck. Give us a reason to farm. I will not pretend like pocket legends is not the older and less successful brother of many of STS's other endeavors, but I know that the profit margin from the huge amounts of platinum that myself and many others in the community inject into this game are worth some extra hours put into development. As RuinedKing, Weany, and many others have stated, 15 years is a huge milestone for mobile games and that should absolutely not be underappreciated by Space Time Studios. Again, this comes from a player who adores the game but just wishes they could have more of an incentive to play the game, recommend it to my friends, and spend money on it. Thank you STS for creating and sustaining a game that has brought me immeasurable enjoyment, but if you want this game to continue providing for you and yours, put some effort in and listen to your community.

Thanks for the event, but as several have mentioned above it's pretty disappointing to see the birthday event being recycled like this - every year, except for this one and last, has been full of new content. The 15th Birthday is a huge milestone, but we are essentially begging for something new and in some way impactful on our PvE/trading experience - we have gone through more than a year of recycled events and content, much of which was paid for at a premium via platinum in years past, so seeing continual releases like this is a huge bummer to so many of us.

I made a Birthday Event Suggestion post here (https://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?771170-Birthday-Event-Suggestions), and we are hoping your team could at least consider implementing any of them. Even just making a slight tweak to make leaderboard sets tradable, or offering more boss spawn attempts, would be extra motivation for us to play the event itself and require (at least what we believe would be) minimal development effort.

Most of the active player base have been playing for quite a while, and the recycled content is really disappointing to see after so many years of new/interchangeable sets. Please consider making any/small adjustments to the event based on all of this feedback. Thank you, STS!

Thank you for another event Futumsh and STS, we appreciate all the efforts being put on Pocket Legends. As a player, I play this game daily and have many friends in there. Over the years, I have only seen the number of players come down because there is no higher objectives in the game. PL has way more potential this. And I have seen the other threads with so many bright ideas that can lead the game to another level. It would bring in more new players, and old players who quit would have something new to come back for. Plus, the trading market would get more busy. I am still thankful for everything coming in this event but as a 15th year birthday event. This is a huge milestone for you and us players. Thank you for bringing us the best event this year as well! It’s been almost two years since I started playing daily, and I dare say this is my favorite game. When I’m having a bad day and log in to play or chat with friends, it always lifts my mood. I’d be happyand I think the whole community would too if we could see the game shine in its former glory again. Many new and old players would play it daily. Unfortunately, we can’t say that’s the case right now.

I agree with the comments before mine. I think we rightfully expected more for a 15th anniversary than what you’ve delivered. I don’t even know if you read our suggestions and feedback about the game at all. Very few players are online beteween two events, and if you just implemented a few small ideas that others have posted on the forum, I’m sure many more people would play. Personally, I’d really appreciate some feedback from you now—why does the community only deserve this little for the 15th anniversary (or in general)?

Or maybe you don’t even need to reply just do something for the community to make the game better, and listen to us.

Thank you for another event. Can't wait to play. I have 2 things on my mind. There should be a rare drop from the bosses. For example, blood set first release had extremely low drop rates and this encouraged everyone to actually farm the event knowing that they may be the lucky person to drop that item. We seen this with polar bag in the winter event where everyone was farming gauntlet hoping to drop the polar bag. Second, the LB rewards are recycled for the past years. We would love something new for PL 15 year birthday. Also, make the LB rewards tradeable. A rare drop worth farming for and new rewards would be awesome. Thank you sts.

As much as I can see the disappointment in what is left of our vocal small community. I agree in their desires for more passion from our beloved makers of the game.

Since that clear and transparent letter, I noticed a huge change in the direction of the other legends games.

It was clear that Arcane Legends was the game STS had their focus on. And the other legends games for the past two years have had recycled events, recolours and little new items and some QOL updates.

I have accepted this is the direction our game has been going and am thankful it has not been sunset and shut down at all.

STS is a business and they need to be supported to keep the servers and the game running.

Hopefully there will be some updates and suggestions from our community added to the game, if the investment in our game is worth STS time.

And if not the events will keep the game active to what players desire, and sadly more will leave. But there are certain die heart players who love and continue to support the game for their own reasons like myself.

I feel like it would be cool as some have said to have to grind harder for certain items and things making it not so easy getting people more involved, working together and playing a lot more! I remember in 2016 many players in Balefort Castle would say "PL will be gone by 2019", but almost a decade later there's still a loyal fanbase supporting it every update. Crazy to think about for a Mobile mmorpg from 2010.

The anniversary of Pocket Legends should have been a time of celebration, but the special update brought more frustration than excitement. The community expected new content and engaging events but instead received recycled features and performance issues.

Additionally, the aggressive monetization disappointed players, as most anniversary items were only available through expensive microtransactions. Many had hoped for a fairer and more rewarding celebration.

Hello, Furmish, STS, & PL Community. I am happy with 15th Birthday Event. Overall everything is great. I don't complain. I just would like PL to strive to release a 120 Cap.

People say it won't happen. But at Space Time Studios they make magic happen.

I would think the marriage thing would do something benefital. Like if you where to farm with your marriage parter. You would get extra gold, or items, o a better chance for Vanity or good item.

Other suggestion is the Eggs could be hatched. Would be able to go NPC and get hatched to a new never seen before Dragon.

I like the idea of a 15 Birthday Buckler like the 8 & 9. If you could add that I think players would be happy, perhaps.

As long as PL keeps on running that's the main thing for me. I just appreciate being able to still log in. After all the platinum purchases to support the game & enjoy the benefits of looking good, and feeling great. I hope we can go for another 15 years also.

Perhaps players would enjoy another guild match or PVP match for a tournament shield.

But as the the Birthday Event. Fine as is. Just please add the 15th Birthday Buckler, & anyone else's suggestions that would be suitable.

Let's start with Happy Birthday Pocket Legends! 15 years really makes me feel old when I type that out... Congratulations to the STS team, and thank you to the dev's who still work on content for the game, Id love to see more fresh and new content added in the next years to come! The last year the recolors and content was pretty refreshing. Id love to see what the team could create new for this year's cycle of gear and vanity.

I'm unsure if you've seen the activity at L71 PvP as of late, If not I'll add it has been the most active I've seen PvP probably since honors at 110.

So my idea was to find and get you the best statistical stats for all 5 classes, Mage. Bear. Fox. Bird. Rhino.

The idea is to make a L70 honors set, So everyone can play and for very cheap. The stats would be most balanced with the sets being L70 crafted stats (goddess, Phantom, Crusher.) and being class specific. This would also need passives removed from all of PvP and kept souly in PvE.

Id also feel lower level PvP could be more balanced if passives were restricted in the PvP arena's. (Same as enchants are)

As for new content, I could suggest my same suggestion I've asked for years about. New faces from the magic mirror. (Still would love to see an owl face for bird.).

Id also like to add an issue currently, The 3pc ring from wearing 3 cap vanities is currently level 71 restricted. This logically seems wrong because at level 66 you can aquire and wear it or you could for years and years. Id like to see the 2pc ring level restrictions at 61 and the 3pc ring restriction at 66.

My IGN is tail - I have over 500k Platinum Spent in Pocket Legends. With this being said I would like for you to add a feature that you have over in AL where my name will turn gold as I have spent a large amount of money on platinum. Another player has requested that here as well.

I would also like to see new drops added to the loot table as we have had a recycled event for 3 years straight now.

Happy 15th bday PL! This game have been a part of my life off an on for 15 years! Crazy. I still remember having a dev accidentally putting a Santa costume in my inventory and subsequently getting reported for wearing it lmaoo. I still remember waving at devs and Droid for items and antenna and STILL have my og antenna to this day. I can't say much else that hasn't already been said on this thread, but I absolutely agree that we deserve a bit more. The new items looks cool and all. But this is year 15!! We should have a much bigger celebration. With all kinds of stuff mentioned earlier. I hope ya'll hear everyone out and and surprise us big! In all honesty, I was the first to comment on this Thread and I was very happy to see a couple new things but now that im reading all these Posts I feel like they're right... I mean recycling one or two sets is completely fine but why the Lb set? I mean people comeback to play and hustle onto the top 5. Leaderboard items coming back shouldn't even be a thing... I mean imagine you grind the hardest you ever did just to get the new Lb set, you got it and the next year more people have the chance to get the same item. I mean People care about sets and looks but People also care about the rarity and value of things... Disrespecting these things is just a nogo. All these people commenting on here spreading their feelings and ideas, shouldn't that be a tiny little sign to maybe just maybe try to change something? This is the most important event that has ever been brought to PL. Why not reward the players that have been loyal to this game for decades, that have never let the game down doesn't matter what happened. If someone would ask me how I feel about this event, I'd answer with ''It's fine''
but if someone asks me on the deeper level I'd say that I expected more...

15 years, and this is the anniversary event we get? Players who’ve stuck with PL for so long were expecting something special, but all we got was recycled items from another game, a lazy recolored set, and a new ‘LGBTQ+’ title (which is just... what?). Honestly, this feels like a slap in the face to the community. The leaderboard reward has been the same for the third year in a row, and it’s not even tradeable—seriously? If you're going to celebrate 15 years, at least give us something that shows appreciation for the players who’ve kept this game alive. This event could’ve been a huge moment, but instead, it just left us disappointed.

"Instead of just recycling content, exclusive title for a minority of the community. here’s what we were hoping for and what the community actually wants to see:"

1. Title Changes: The title should be something coveted and inclusive of all communities, for example (TITAN, TRY-HARD, etc..)
2. Birthday Shield: An arcane rarity shield that completes crafted sets but with lower stats than mythical. The twist? Its passive boosts Dragkin Terror campaign chest drops to 2-5 Fangs per chest and guarantees points on the Venomous Dragkin weekly quest while boosting weekly quest points. We had similar shields in the past that helped with Mad Mage quests, so it’s not a new concept, but one that players really enjoyed and would love to see again.
3. Quality of Life Updates: Make improvements to the stash—add a search and rarity filter and allow sorting by tabs (helmets, armors, crafting materials, vanities, etc.), just like the consignment store and inventory.
4. Tradeable Slots: Add tradeable inventory, stash, and consignment store slots to improve flexibility and to support both free-to-play (F2P) players and platinum spenders. Also, give plat spenders something that allows them to make gold off their investments, like a way to monetize their items or efforts in-game.
5. Rewards for Supporters: Special titles and perks for players who’ve spent a significant amount of platinum (the “whales” who help keep the game alive). For example, the ability to change name colors or other exclusive rewards based on spending.
6. New Guild Role: Add a Co-leader role with the ability to promote/demote officers and start guild events.
7. More Customization: Add new faces and makeup options, including a hair color option for mages.
8. More Slots: Additional slots for the consignment store, stash, and quick chat.
9. Community Suggestions: Incorporate other suggestions made by the community in the forums to show that feedback is valued.

I agree, as a player who’s been with PL since the beginning.. watching one of my favorite games releasing the same content every single year is saddening. I’ve been waiting years now to get back on and actually dedicate some time to some new content, but there’s nothing new, and recolors just aren’t cutting it anymore. Gathering up my payment history I’ve purchased over a hundred thousand plat in my time of playing. The gross amount spent dollar wise is unknown. But seeing it all go to waste puts no incentive in my hands. I see a lot of long term players begging for a better event/ new items to farm, I fully believe these players are not asking out of greed rather asking out of wanting to enjoy playing the game, not playing the same reused content for the 5th year in a row. I’d highly recommend considering reading these comments and seeing what y’all can do as developers to make the gaming experience better for these players, to include myself of course. As of now, no original long term player is going to grind this event. The only people who will do so are the select few and their alternator characters who normally grind these events just to do it. There needs to be something new.

Theruinedking could not have said it better. A QUALITY OF LIFE update is what this game has been missing for years and years. I know the resources for a decent update is under the disposal, I just can’t wrap my mind around a reason there wouldn’t be a decent update. I am not one to thank you for your “event”. The people who are thanking you are just developer office pets. This game could easily boom like it did back in 2012-2017 if the same rotated mediocre content wasn’t rotated the last 5 years.
