my ipod broke

I dropped my ipod and the lcd screen got pushed in... now it has turned white and i can not see anything. So ill try to get a new one, and be back probably right after Christmas. haha
ill be on forums so i dont come back and find out there's guides, humans, and housing and have no idea what to do:)

I got a used iPod Touch 1st gen when the 2nd gens were out. It has given me no problems until recently (a pixel just went out, and the sleep button doesn't always work). Still, that's after several years of flawless functioning. If you can afford a new one, by all means get it. I myself am in on the lookout for a used 3rd gen.
