I have to admit, I’m shocked.. but in a good way. Seeing STS actually listen and make changes that benefit the community is something I didn’t expect. This event is a step in the right direction. Hoping this trend of listening to feedback continues because this is exactly what the game needs! Thank you so much for this 🙏🏼

Think about it, you want to refund the plat you used to buy shard to upgrade YOUR pet. But what will happen to those player who bought using golds? Ofc they wont receive any refunded shard because the shard will automatically be refunded as plat TO THE OWNER OF THE SHARD HE BOUGHT FROM. Thats unfair to those player who use gold to buy shard. Lol

Doesn't matter if it was gold or platinum, they got refunded of shards ect. My friend just got refunded everything and thats 50m+ worth.

It's a good thing, what is happening atm

I didn't find any benefit in having the pet at Tier 7, but it is indeed a great gold sink.

There's a random chance that you'll receive a shard/trainer chest.

Very happy to see that you heard us.
I m also happy that players got refunded the shards which were above the new limit. I mainly tried to do so for aps but it felt literally impossible. Thank you ! Great mini event as well

I would like a clarification on how the replacement of trainer works cause as far as i understood before, swapping trainer will maintain the progression of the pet, but i just did it and my pet went from lvl 5 to lvl 1, so i'd like to know if is actually intended or a bug, thx

Your Pet's progression with a specific Trainer is kept; it is not transferred to a new Trainer.

So if you Evolve your Pet with a Damage Trainer to Tier 5 and then you switch to a Haste Trainer for the first time your Haste Training Tier will be 1. If you then decide to switch back to the Damage Trainer that you previously evolved, your Pet's Damage Training Tier will go back to Tier 5.

The alert says "all progress for the existing evolution trainer will be kept"

I'm not saying the description is perfect but we do specify this detail :-)

Nevertheless, the team will see how we can state this fact more obviously to avoid possible confusion. Thanks!

Well keep in mind that english isn't your players' first language for big part so in order to avoid a misunderstanding and a big waste of gold being clearer won't harm no one ;)

Pet tier gold costs are too expensive.
It's out of balance with the shard costs.

Especially looking at all the achievements for having max tier level pets, for new/beginner players (even normal players) this is too expensive.

30M+ gold to get 1 pet to max level is quite a lot.
When you need 20 for achievements.

Because generally most heroic rarity pets have better stats than arcane rarity pets.
So it's balanced this way.

I was on my last leg of among giants and spawned a mini boss. Obviously it had crazyyy hp, this shouldn't happen in a solo map. I didn't realize event was still active that time

After the adjustment, arcane and heroic shards are perfectly fine - they provide decent bonuses and people will buy them for plat, legendary shards drop in abundance from beastmaster crates, plus you are guaranteed to get 5 every week. So far all well and good.
Myth shards, on the other hand, provide much weaker bonuses compared to heroic/arcane, but are not as accessible for free compared to legedary. As far as I understand it, myth/legendary shards ought to be a weakened version accessible to a casual&f2p folk, while arc/heroic - max power platinum purchase.
At the moment it's just not worth acquiring myth ones except for aps, give your poor lb runners' wallets a break)

I think the Damage trainer needs nerfed because when I hop in tdm literally just tap the pet and i’m dead
