Since the earliest days of Arcane Legends, gold farming has revolved around elite boss runs. We’ve spent countless hours grinding, forming optimized parties for efficiency, and maxing out our gold loot gear just to squeeze out more from every drop.
But… what if we switched things up?
What if the often-overlooked daily quests became a valuable part of our gold farming strategy?
Here’s the proposal: A Revamped Daily Quest System
Gold loot % boosts quest rewards
Just like how gold loot affects drops from mobs, your gear’s gold loot percentage should increase the amount of gold you earn from daily quest rewards.
Significantly increase base gold rewards
Daily quests should offer meaningful rewards—not just token amounts. This gives casual players and grinders alike a reason to engage daily.
Introduce “Hard Mode” daily quests
For experienced players, offer tougher quests with huge gold rewards. These could be time-limited (Like hedou, rahab) or map-specific, with higher difficulty and better payoffs.
Account-wide daily quests
To prevent abuse via alt farming, daily quests should be shared across all characters on an account. Completing a daily on one character completes it for all others.
Why This Is Good for the Game:
Newbie Friendly
Even ungeared or low-level players can earn decent gold by doing quests in beginner-friendly maps—no need to be carried through elite zones.
Map Variety
Players will explore and revisit a wider range of maps rather than grinding the same spot (looking at you, Indigo!).
Independent Progression
It encourages self-sufficiency. New players won’t be completely reliant on high-level friends or guildmates just to make gold.
Break the Grind Loop
No more endless remapping and running the same elite bosses. Daily quests add a structured, rewarding alternative.
What Do You Think?
Is this a direction the community would enjoy? Could this help bridge the gap between casuals and hardcore players while breathing new life into the game’s content?
Let’s hear your thoughts and ideas!
