Can you change the CS to only charge you a fee on a completed sale instead of on the posting of the auction. If it is a true consignment shop then you should only take your fee on the sale of an item. Otherwise rename it to AL-eBay shop.

Agreed! Even the fee is far too expensive. Really agreeing with this.

Its a gold sink, ya just gotta live with it. I personally dont like when i list crap for like 200g and commission is 105g LOL.

But the price is high because its for 12hours+, there are no 3h listing option :/ SO id want a 3h listing option.

This is true. It's designed to have a bit of a sting for the good of the economy in the long run, and while unfortunate when you want to list something, it does make you decide where you want to spend that hard earned gold!

Listing a good item where you worked hard to get (let's say 150k item) CS takes a fee of like 20k... -.-

Nope it's about 5-10k

A bit more. Even 5-10k is too much.

It can still be a gold sink by taking a % from the sale. It's hard enough to deal with gold when you have an item worth 200k according the the CS, and you try to post lower and get charged 10k, each time you try and unsuccessfully sell it, then after a patch like the last, I can't even sell the item for 40 and break even... If my first elite drop was another class and I tried to sell for 200k, I may be spending all my I have in my pocket just to try and sell it over and over. Take a larger % on sales, instead of on the posting the. Take 10% plus 100 for each item sold and make all auctions be 24 hours. There isn't much different for a 12-24-36 hour auction costs now.

Then a $200 gold post still can get you 110g sink and a 200k sell takes only 20100, instead of 10k,10k,10k each time it doesn't sell. You are in turn encouraging people to not use the CS-gold sink and just spam chat or the forums...

I'm honestly trying to make a suggestion that would work for both, but when I have to repost an item multiple times it becomes worthless, plus you kill the market for posting cheaper items: copper chests, epics, etc. because if it doesn't sell the first time then they lose you money to post again

sincerely support this... 10% is crazy
STS is gold hungry
5k for selling something worth 60k, if you can't sell in first 12 hours, 25% of hard earned gold already gone, what kind of high risk investment is this?

I just put an item for 85k in auction. The fee was 5k! Honestly, are you kidding meh -.-

The fee to auction on AL is pretty ridiulous actually. I could put in 10 items for 5k in SL for cheaper than 1 item for 3k in AL.

Thanks for supporting this. Fee on sale at these rates is definitely the way to go. Otherwise cut the fee dramatically to keep it the same

True. Posted an item 250k (fee was ~15k) and it didn't sell..... Ugh

:). If you sell an item, StS takes 5-10% of that sale....on board with that?
If it doesn't sell, there is no fee.

i think by canceling the fee there wont be any risk anymore which makes auction pointless rly :/ , BUT i do agree on lowering it cuz its rly expensive right nw :(

I'm sorry but why make gold for plats so cheap and then demand so much for fees. Its for the good of sts economy maybe but not the game.

the economy that players made are different from sts's ideal economy. Malison cost 90 plat. which equals 90k technically.

yet there are weaker pets that cost 250k +

getting off topic. anyway, yeah maybe there should be a cs calculator that takes the % price off after its sold.

25%? 5k of 60k is 1/12th, or just about 8.3%. A full 66% less than what you claim.

Still, 5k out of a 60k item when gold is hard for you to get (not being able to buy platinums) is, a lot.

Once again the fee is pretty large, i put up an item in the SL auction for 30k and the fee was under 500c... STS, i believe you have nerfed the price to put up auction items... A lowering would be greatly appreciated

I don't buy plat and I have enough to get by and purchase what I need.

The fee is fine - maybe only a slight reduction. The consignment shop is saturated enough as it is without there being 0 risk to putting up items.

Is it annoying? Yes. However, you CAN make money without buying any gold, just learn to take advantage of the market.

Maybe, but others maybe not. Example, the OP.

The fee is fine.... If anything it should be lowered/raised to 5%. 5% seems like it would be a fair balance.

I like the fee the way it is. There should be a cost for listing items. If you are afraid your item won't sell, then don't charge as much for it. If as the OP suggested, fees were only charged on completed sales, then folks would inflate the price of everything way high in the hope that someone buys it, and then keep trying as there would be no cost to keep relisting the same item over and over.

I am a very successful merchant in PL, and I can tell you that the listing fee is what makes it possible to be a merchant. That's why folks will sell to you less, because they want to avoid the listing fee and not knowing how much to charge, and then maybe it doesn't sell and they have to relist. If you got a problem with the way it works, then sell to a merchant and go farm for more pinks.

If they make it too easy for regular folks to list items in the CS, then there would be no need for merchants. Having merchants makes the game more interesting. As I said, you should sell to a merchant and let them worry about all the listing costs, etc.
