I swapped a pet with 25 percent stacking dmg to a pet with 30 damage not stacking , the 30 has less dex but more damage , if im not mistaken stacking damage should and always has been higher ? Correct me if im wrong , friend also compared draguer to feng and same thing277282277283277284277285 Can someone explain the mechanic behind this , i always remembered stacking was higher than non stacking , am i missing something?

It's the other way around.
Stacking is 25% of your damage before other stacking damage buffs.
Non stacking is 30% of your total damage as extra damage, which is why 25% non stacking is higher than stacking.
So if you have full beast set for example you have 130% dmg and with 25% stacking dmg that's 155% total dmg.
With 30% nonstacking damage that'd be 130% dmg x 1.3, so 169% dmg
The reason why stacking is better is because from other non stacking dmg buffs like from armor, 30% dmg elixir or sb amulet higher value buffs override lower value buffs, meaning low non stacking dmg buffs can be pointless at times.

check ur damage again when proccing for example ur arcane armor (the damage buff is not stacking) and also try popping a 30% damage elixir(its not stacking) you will see the difference. without procs and elixirs ,30% not stacking gives more than 25% stacking

also you have the privilige of me being your friend, you can always ask me for advice
