When I rotate or minimise my phone the game keeps restarting. Is there any way to fix this? (Im using S24 Ultra).

That's definitely not normal behavior, unless it's also suspended for 2+ minutes before you resume it.

Unfortunately, it doesn't happen on any device I have here, so I can't really investigate what's going on.
At the least, try rebooting.

If anyone with this issue can PM me a device log of when you do it, there may be something useful there. I've verified I don't have any devices this happens on (including android 15 devices, though I don't have either of the mentioned ones).

hello. i'm experiencing something similar on my s24 ultra. whenever i play arcane legends and, for example, switch to the spotify app (happens with any other app aswell) to change the music i listen to, i'm met with a connection lost screen as soon as i switch back to arcane. this action barely takes 15 seconds. i'm using multiple devices such as an iphone & ipad to play on, yet it only happens on my samsung/android. i have a different android phone to check if the same error occurs, or maybe someone else in this community can confirm a similar problem on their phone (android specifically)

i've tried checking if i put arcane into the deep sleep mode (blocked to run in the background), which i did at first where i thought maybe that is the problem, but even after removing it from any form or being blocked running in the background, i'm still met with a connection lost screen after switching back to the game.

i'm on my way to work rn, so i can't do any bigger research on how this happens on my android phone exclusively. i will look into it later and may give an update if i found something, or if i can't find anything

Hmm - what was described previously was app restart on rotate or pause/resume (which is probably unexpected activity recreation from some sort of unhandled config change).

If you're seeing a connection lost screen while being out for less than 2 minutes, then something is actively dropping network connections when you pause (which I think the deep sleep mode probably does).

This same happens to me, i get instantly disconnected when i switch apps. At first i thought I came back after long time so maybe u guys changed something but apparently it's a bug

It does look like android 15 shortened the time before connections are dropped when backgrounded substantially.

It looks like you can avoid the disconnect when backgrounding with:

* Press and hold on the app icon.
* Tap 'App Info'
* Tap 'App battery usage'
* Make sure 'Allow background usage' is enabled (pretty sure it is by default).
* Tap on 'Allow background usage' to the left of the slider.
* Set to 'Unrestricted'.

This looks like it restores the previous behavior.
