Awful event. Again a paywall to play the event. Getting bad pets even with elix on. 10 minutes is a complete joke. Gatekeeping the good pets only for elixir users.
I was there when zavier was a free to play extremely friendly and it dropped almost every pet in game, no elixirs.
Another indigo spam week it is. You can't keep doing this greediness or you will lose players, it has already started though.

I’ve killed Egg-Zavier over 35 times so far and haven’t had a single Legendary or Mythic egg drop. I understand RNG is part of the game, but it would be really nice to see a slight increase in the drop rates for Legendary and Mythic eggs; Just a suggestion to make the grind a bit more rewarding!

Utter joke. With how many pets in the game and the %chance of getting anything half decent to make up for the elix price and time spent running, it's almost never worth it.

I understand why you devs did it but you looking from it from one perspective only - I don't believe that was the best way to go about it. Idk if there is a new member added to the team but the recent changes in event has just not been hitting the mark.

I hope you don't continue pushing your loyal players more.

idk man. you get negative feedback on all fronts, in the preview thread, in the feedback thread, and also ingame people are nonstop dissappointed and mad at how the changes ruined the event entirely. as a long time player/supporter seeing all of this just hurts so much and makes me lose all trust in your decision making for future events

if nothing get's changed this event will for sure go down as the worst, most disliked event you offered to your community

Ran 1 hour with elixirs and 1 arcane drop. Making it 10 minutes and counting down everywhere was a very big mistake.

I would advise everyone to be cautious with buying elixirs because they are not worth it in my opinion.

Everything has been said in the official event thread, no changes will be made and this might be the last time the event runs, so what reply are y'all expecting?

Also, I know that every event has one, but this feedback thread is kind of unnecessary since everything was said by players in the official thread and devs are firm with their decisions of not changing anything.

@Cinco Seriously, I had already given up on the duration of the elixir, but the drops rates and zavier spawn are extremely low.

I’m a 5.20% ms player, full blood with blood arti. one of the elixirs I used, I FOUND zavier only 4 times!!! in 12-13 KT4 runs. unbelievable. Please do something about it!!!!! Also, literally all my kills dropped legendary so far and I did quite a few runs, not even a mythic!

Maybe i’m just really unlucky.

I did 1 lix and got into 4 portals: got 3 mythic and 1 legendary egg. Very stressful with it counting down everywhere and then bad drops.
I didn't even open lix until I had a portal to go thru, did several runs before I even got a portal and then opened lix.

Not sure why you are being so stubborn, this is very bad as you can see in all the posts. Please fix it.

The drop rate is supposedly the same as last year but it's harder to loot since the lix time is shorter we can't run the zone as much this time. I think the devs will look at the data tomorrow and hope they can make some adjustments so more players will go for the event. You know they are closely watching the thread and also looking on the backend of loot tables. Let's give it overnight and see where we are tomorrow? They AlWAYS adjust events if it's needed so have a bit of confidence in their team.

Hour is an hour. Regardless of what you paid for it. And on a lix last year was 2-3 eggs an hour as an average. Whether it Is same or not ive not heard a person close to that. Anecdotally ive heard little to no success stories drop related. And we as big as walmart candy, id hear it ;)

Update: Played for literally 4 hours and I HAVENT SEEN a single arcane or heroic. Shame on you devs for even saying that you did not change the drop rate. Last years I dropped at least 4-5 arcanes/heroic per hour.

FYI- I only used aged elixir so i’m literally maximizing my time running and still nothing SEEN.

I just have one recommendation.

You've often been told to create a discussion forum about what you think or what you're going to change at an upcoming event. It will make it easier for you to do that instead of making a change that clearly many players don't like. You end up wasting your own time as well as the time of your employees making a change that isn't worth it. And even worse, I've always seen many events where, after seeing so much negative feedback, you make "good" fixes. Doing this kind of thing only wastes your time.

Take this advice into account and you'll see that both parties will agree to the changes that need to be made. If they don't want to, then simply close the game. If you do, it will only cause you to lose players one by one until no one wants to play.

And I'm not just saying this; many games from large companies have lost many players due to changes that the community itself believes are unnecessary.

Think about it, Arcane Legends has no competition, so why instead of looking for good solutions to attract more players and keep current players, they just make changes that the community obviously won't agree with?

here’s why i don’t buy the “we need to protect the price of eggs” being the reason for the changes we don’t want:

you already control certain eggs by not letting them drop, why not control the ones you aren’t telling us your concerned about ?

there is no response with regard to inflation in general, just this undefined “egg market” lol

the game is saturated with eggs after years & so few eggs matter, and that is what increased their value

what other markets are subject to this scrutiny specifically

in the past i remember ppl “saying item x is too expensive pls re release it”, & sts response was

I’ve killed Egg-Zavier over 35 times so far and haven’t had a single Legendary or Mythic egg drop. I understand RNG is part of the game, but it would be really nice to see a slight increase in the drop rates for Legendary and Mythic eggs; Just a suggestion to make the grind a bit more rewarding!

Just a follow-up on my previous feedback;

I ran over an hour with Elixirs, killed 60+ portals, and normal Egg-Zavier bosses. Not a single Mythic egg dropped from the normal version, and only two Legendary eggs total.
In the portal runs, I didn’t get a single Arcane or Heroic egg across 60 to 70 runs, only Mythic and Legendary eggs. At this point, the portal boss feels almost identical to the normal Egg-Zavier, with no real difference in drop quality.

If the portal is supposed to be a rare and more rewarding version, the current drop rates don't reflect that. Please consider reviewing and adjusting the drop rates for both the normal and portal bosses, especially for Arcane and Heroic eggs, to make the event feel more rewarding for dedicated players.

Honestly terrible. I have used 50 elixirs and 3 double boss damage in an effective no stall no bad ping runs, and accidentally looted an arcane. I think that drop was just to get me hooked on running. Or if it was a mistake sts I can give it back to you. Disrespectful.

Please take that Arcanite pet requirement out of the H egg crate crafting. I am asking for you to think of the impacts on your HC players. Now we have to farm arcanite bars and craft them on top of all the crafting already going on. You are taking what is already a difficult event for us and making it unplayable. We just don't have the time to run the event, craft the eggs, PLUS run Greensap which won't even be open for the majority of the week anyways. This update basically boxed out your HC community and we are many and strong for this event.

Not only that, but this mid-event update many of us already transferred ALL of our arcanite pets that we didn't need to normal so we cannot craft them to heroics.

My suggestion is to make portal egg zavier drop mythic to heroic eggs instead of legendary to heroic, as this would provide a better balanced reward for players that also connects both farming and crafting aspect of this event into the profits,

this also guarantees profit from using the event elixirs thus satisfying the use of it instead of the current -50% gold loss per elixir use due to the current unsatisfying drops in portal.

This would also likely guarantee players atleast 1 arcane pet per elixir or 1 heroic pet per 5 elixir (all delayed through crafting) thus everyone would be more satisfied with loot and reward per time spent in game.

even though the drop chance is still the same. but with the duration of the elixir falling to 10 minutes, we lose 20-30x the chance to run (assuming the average player does 4-6 runs in 10 minutes).

Used to be able to getting heroics from the normal zavier with a cheap elix for the realm with good drops, now the normal one drops trash, prices are 6x higher than last year in which the prices also went up and the drop rates got worse. Its so bad, that youre losing gold when farming the event. Really sad seeing greedy devs taking my fav game away from me

Reason is ... Crate. Try it, day and night difference compared to how nabs (f2p) struggle with elixir vs spenders earn.

This is legit BS, maybe it is good on your lone perspective since you are not a F2P player, how can you say this is good when all you can get with 6 elixirs is 1 arcane worth 1m, 2 arcane chest which cost 2 mil, and guess what? The cost of elixir is pretty much 6m compared to the 3m that you told us that is good.

Stop it, this is legit bs event for those who are paying for the elixir, not gettin the maximum value out of it + giving us nonstop useless legendary eggs.

Arent this also the eggzavier and not a crafting eggstravaganza? Why you kept pushing that same narrative over and over again that they are doing good in the past few events that they are releasing? This was a good hc event for me. I like that we can craft the eggs just running maps. Don't need the elixir and after more then 2hrs of using it didnt see a single drop higher then mythic so why bother. Work on aps, craft eggs. It's been a good hc event for me.

This is legit BS, maybe it is good on your lone perspective since you are not a F2P player, how can you say this is good when all you can get with 6 elixirs is 1 arcane worth 1m, 2 arcane chest which cost 2 mil, and guess what? The cost of elixir is pretty much 6m compared to the 3m that you told us that is good.

Stop it, this is legit bs event for those who are paying for the elixir, not gettin the maximum value out of it + giving us nonstop useless legendary eggs.

Arent this also the eggzavier and not a crafting eggstravaganza? Why you kept pushing that same narrative over and over again that they are doing good in the past few events that they are releasing? I dont think that 17 pages of negative reviews for this event is something that you can be happy about candykissed [emoji23]

Last 2 events helped us on hc immensely. Tokens and jewels. Pets. I know not everyone has the same objectives but yes, I ran the last 2 events on hc and it made a world of difference. Finally have tokens and jewels. Finally have decent pets. Collected a ton of aps. Farmed over 4m in gold on hc with no gold loot. All of that was possible just running the events. I know 4m isn't a lot for normal but I had like 15k after buying some Blue awakes. If these events helped my hc then they are definitely new player friendly.

Hc players are a tiny, tiny minority. Also, this event was never supposed to focused on hc. It's just a useful and very low impact side effect. Tbh u hc players are even more f*** up in so many ways by the predatory game monetization, which is the main problem everyone has been worried about. The rest of us, the huuuuge majority, maybe well over 95% find this event pretty useless and greedy of sts. Almost 30 pages of what im talking about can be found above. I don't like every event and the ones that don't work for me I just don't play. But I also don't come on here staying that STS are money grabbing people. I ran this even hard, and yes even for the free eggs without lix for days on end. My HC has so many eggs now and I am happy with this event.

It's OK to not like every event, just play what works for you and do something else if it doesn't.

Its pretty simple imo. Cutting off even the slight chance at an arcane in a normal run, where it isnt 'better odds' its 'no odds' shows the way it is. And ive run plenty of hours with lix. This isnt last years drop rate past maybe day 1, when it got corrected due to player commentary.
Even in a fast pt u arent quite hitting cost to run. I dont mind 'pay to win' my time has value and I pay for entertainment. This is the first time in five+ years ive been playing and paying, that I feel this..is pay to lose

If sts didn’t listen to the million other people objecting about the event, what makes you think 1 positive comment will make a difference? Just to add, candy is right, even if you play with no lix you can still make heroics by crafting. Sorry, but that’s a fact. It is super rare to see the drops but they do exist. Every event is most profitable if played “farming”. I do agree to raising the odds of drops. But you don’t expect to play 1 hour and give an honest event judgement. That would be unfair I’d say. And yes, by crafting the legendary drops into mythic, mythic to arcane, arcane to hero. It’s an absolute mission! But it’s doable for those who really need it. I’ve crafted maybe 50 heroic chests and there was almost no duplicate in eggs obtained from those chests.

I know you guys are getting rid of event, but will there be future events like this? The crafting and eggs in chest part of it , not the farming eggs from whatever his name is part.

Would be a shame if we never got pet eggs in chest again. I liked crafting heroic chest and opening the egg chest for good pets. Want to do it again in the future, also really fun event for HC.

Even though I don't play as much as I used to I still support Arcane Legends financially...for now. Like many others who have been playing for years, seeing the recent changes is disheartening. I don't see one comment that isn't right and Candy's post is also correct because he/she is trying to make the best of a bad job because that's what this event is...a bad job.
It's an all or nothing attitude by the developers that's most likely getting customers frustrated. Take it or leave it is a better way of putting it and sadly, people are leaving it.
In a world that has changed for the worse in the last few years, people turn to something that will help them escape from reality. This was actually said by the developers in the early years. "a place to escape".
Well, now this game is beginning to mirror reality in some ways. The anticipation we used to share with every yearly event is not the same. It's more like, "I wonder if they'll ruin this event" that I've seen in chat.
My comment won't count for much, I belong to a different era but I felt compelled to say something because maybe it's a swan song.

I rerolled into a common egg today... that's how bad the loot tables are.

Anyway if you ever bring this back (don't... especially in its current state):

- Instead of an elixir, why not have totems? You sell them 2 plat each. They let you enter the portal, and they are single use items.

- If you ever bring this back just bring it back as pet rescue. That was a better event imo.

- Increase drop rates of legendary-mythic on normal eggzavier boss. I was hoping to run and farm eggs and just craft but after getting common eggs on my initial runs, I was discouraged. It wasn't like this in the past.

I think if the elix lasted 1h instead of 10 minutes that would have gave more chances at looting worthwhile pets. That said, those pets wouldn't be worth as much as they are currently.
