Weapon speed

I wondering if there are different speed for different weapon in each class like some other games? Like slower weapon with larger damage, faster weapon with less damage

Idk havent played other classes enough to notice
But its not auto attack so the speed is more or less based on if you have mana left lol

For mages, ive noticed the flamestrikes do faster charged attacks than the normal staff weapin attacks
