Not Registering kills?

Im not sure why but I can run around killing for an hour and come back to see my PVE kills has not changed at all. Am i missing something here? I have been stuck at mid 7K for days now! Anyone know whats up with that?

Your xp enable is off or the dungen you are in is for a level lower then the one you are.

Nope im lvl 16 but XP enable is on and i was just doing elites and nothing registered im at the exact same PVE total as before
