Death - Don't Respawn!

You ever been there at a boss elite bael or elite jarl and you happen to die right when he is almost dead? You quickly hit that respawn button so you can quickly run back to the boss and either collect your reward from the party or so you can finish him yourself.

Do not do that anymore!

If you die in battle with any boss or any monster for that matter and your party kills it as long as your dead body is still there you collect your reward. If it is a chest you do have to run back and manually pick it up.


But wait!!!! What if you aren't with a party and you die?!?! Do not respawn!

Why you ask?!?!

Because your pet is still alive! and he can't die!

But what can by pet do you ask?!?!

He can still attack the monster but also you can cast his arcane spell still! If he kills it you can run back and get your reward!

If it really is a bug and not the way it should be I don't see why it shouldn't be patched.

If I knew it was a bug I would report it since exploiting bugs is bad for the game or any game in general.

Until I get told though it is a bug I consider it normal operation and I will forever kill bosses with my pet :)

Yea it's not a very big thing, but the point of being dead is that you aren't able to do anything. Idk, just seems like something that should be patched to me :p

Ya wouldn't be hard to address just have it so if player dies so does pet and block the drops that aren't chest or pet's from being sent to the dead player.

This actually has allowed me to get some elite chests that I would have missed if I had to run back and the boss was already dead.

Definitely use plat in this situation if you have some. The 1 plat it takes to revive at the scene costs about 5 cents.

Exactly. Since you can just go at Bael in elite, kill yourself, and put your device on a table and wait while your pet does everything. Then do it again etc etc. Too easy.

Exactly through for elite bael depending on your pet you probably will have your phone sitting there for quite a few hours while it kills him.

If people use this method currently I don't see an issue really since it isn't a bug until a developer or staff of SpaceTime confirms it as a bug and unless they haven't seen this thread yet I am guessing it is normal operation of the game.

Is it really that bad? I mean i know ive died 400+ on my sorc and plenty at the boss. Sometimes i can get back in time but most the time i cant and miss the reward. I have sat there dead a few times while my party kills the boss, only if i think i couldnt get back in time. I hate when players go afk or run through maps straight to boss and dip out with a reward, so usually i try not to do this method. If i got time ill respawn.
Now on the topic of pets killing the boss, ii dont agree the pet solos the boss, but if u geet him 50% and die, he will reset, and u rage quit.

Letting the pet solo a boss while u go afk is an exploit. Thee rest aint so bad

Noooo :( it's not cool tanking elite bosses yourself, dealing most of the damage and going through a hundred potions just to die seconds before the boss. Now you don't even get the rewards for it :(

Fairly certain no single warrior is going to do most the damage to any elite boss. Our damage and dps isn't high enough to out do a rogue or mage.

lol i thought many ppl kno about that pet atcks even when one dies. i dnt respawn if boss hp is 10% :-P
