Because it's a surprise. It's hidden content - just like Cryptareth was when he first appeared.

There is other hidden stuff too (and I am not going to mention that either... but I bet you'll find it)!

Very generous to give us a free arcane pet with 100% gold loot, i really like it! I love the idea of the secret room. Frankly, I wouldn’t have figured it out without a hint from a friend. I should’ve read more carefully what Pina had to say (next time I will!).

Please, we need the Crypt Secret Portal Map to be easier for level 3 and up. I spent over 40 minutes trying to kill the golden spider and I still died... Please fix that... thank you.

You have to work VERY HARD to loot Arachne on these super low levels. This is done on purpose and will not change. Good luck! YOU CAN DO IT!! :-)

Neither - it is intended that you only access the Sunken Spider Chamber once per character (ever). You are not / will not be allowed to farm multiples on the same character.

I would like to mention the gold drop aspect of the event, which also applies to all events in general.

Some might say there are maps specifically for gold farming. Yes, they exist, but playing the same map every day for months gets boring. I don’t see any issue with slightly buffing gold drops from events to motivate players like me to participate longer than just for daily quests for APs.

Halo Event Feedback:
- Mortarax drops 2 gold piles, but the amounts are extremely uneven. Example drops: 24k + 3k, 22k + 4k, 19k + 6k, 20k + 3k. While this gives a rough idea of the average, I would prefer the second gold pile to be 50% of the higher drop. For example: 20k + 10k or 22k + 11k.
- Sylas drops gold, but the other two bosses (Ketex/Ireni) don’t. Please fix this inconsistency.
- Chests drop a fixed gold amount, please consider doubling it.
- Mini-bosses (Spider/Sorcerer) drops should also be increased. For example, if they currently drop 4k–8k, make it a consistent 8k.
- Mobs drop a reasonable amount of gold, this part is fine.

I spent 35 minutes on the event map and earned around 1 million gold in total (550k from gold drops and 450k from selling dust material). Interestingly, dust (a common loot) is the most profitable loot, when you loot 4 pieces it is nice bonus gold. The secret chamber chests may also be worth something after the event ends.

However, here's the main issue:

I made 1 million in 35 minutes on the event map. I can make the same amount in 3 minutes running a gold farming map. I genuinely wish gold drops from events were buffed, not just this one but all. They don’t need to match the profits from farming maps, but the current gap is too large for me to feel motivated to keep running events.

I’m also not a fan of RNG-based loot, it discourages me from investing time in events.

Really enjoyed needing to read the npc hints to find the secret chamber as well as the guaranteed arcane OP new pet. It wasn't behind a paywall just part of the game it's self. The 3 bosses in a row was really fun tbh. Fought them on a different class solo with not OP gear and it was an actual battle that took some time which was a breath of fresh air. Having "hidden" vanities that drop in the map also is awesome! Overall good event STS ;)

The mechanics used: First stage: clear the entire map without hitting the boss. Second stage: kill the first boss under the second curve, leaving the three sorcerer. Third stage: kill the second boss at the top to the end of the map. Final Stage: Kill the final boss at the same spawn point, taking care to kill the mobs that appear. I used boss double loot elixir to get 2x egg.

Devs could you put back the crafting materials into the 2 chests for those who have completed the gold spider encounter. For whatever reason after the encounter the mats no longer drop from those chests, just gold.

Is there any chance that next event we can get level 1 belts in locks pls or level 1 artifacts in locks if would be a nice add and make it worth while opening them. As for event nice event some hidden stuff is nice wouldn't mind a clue or ways to get clues on more stuff after the spider encounter there hasn't really been anything really nice of note would of been nice if the boss house item or mort portal in your house had a entry to another secret chamber but who knows maybe next events

Enjoying the event! Thanks so much for the 100GL golden spider! Really loving the gold spider silk sets as well. Really wanted the snow white /spring dresses, but they were rare drops. This dress is the prettiest of them all! Tried hard for venom title, but the drop rate makes it look like it won't happen xD overall a fantastic mini event!

Attn Devs: Currently the drops from the 2 event chests “close” for those who have killed the golden spider. Because of that many people are lamenting the completion because there is no ability to loot the vanity dress, crypt and any other drops from those chests. Could you please fix that for the remainder of the event?

There are some golden vanity weapons and a dress that drop from mini bosses and event crates. Although if you go hunting, be aware that the event crates somehow stopped dropping loot for anyone who has killed the golden spider in the side chamber.
