Two New Classes for Pocket Legends - Vixen Ranger and Rhino Paladin!

Both classes will be free for any Pocket Legends player after the patch later this week that enables them.

Besides the two new classes, there is a lot of other great stuff coming in the same patch this week, including:


New Elite level 76 Red Dragon Bossfight with new drops
New Heroic dungeon
New 3v3 CTF Map set in the Burning Flats
Winterfest with new vanity drops and store items

Didn't this already happen in PL before? When mages were super underpowered compared to the archers and warriors so they had to rebalance the entire stats of the game?

Yeah 'cause mages have been terribly underpowered compared to archers and warriors for the last 3 caps. Especially during Fang cap.

Yeah 'cause mages have been terribly underpowered compared to archers and warriors for the last 3 caps. Especially during Fang cap.

Lets say difficulty rather struggle. Not being harsh, actually I'm a fan what they did till to date overall.


I mentioned in one of my posts that the process of improving balance involves making small changes, then reacting to your feedback on those changes, and making another small change. The best analogy for this reasoning is target practice: I have a target - let's say it's an apple. I shoot for the target, I miss, then I shoot again at the same target, and hopefully I hit the apple or at least get a little closer.

In reality my target was not an apple, it was to improve the efficacy of the Underworld Dex gear. So, I redid the point allocation for the crafted Underworld Dex set. It still wasn't cool, so I changed it again. http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?77525-2012-11-30-Content-Update-(109068) In order for my process to be effective, I'm need to have to stay focused and ask, "Did that help?" If yes, it stays. If no, I ask, "Did it hurt?" If no, it also stays.

After the Dex gear change, I decided to address another facet of the problem you guys are discussing here which affects the largest portion of our player base (how democratic of me). Everyone plays PVE, and the Enchantress and Archer fall down too much in PVE! To address this I lowered the health and mana regen debuffs, and elite NPC damage output in PVE (part of that same update). Again, trying to stay focused I have to ask, did that help? If yes, it stays. If no, I ask, "Did that help?" If yes, it stays. If no, I ask, "Did it hurt?" If no, it also stays. :)

Obviously the latter change doesn't affect PVP. So what next? Well, using my target practice example, how would the process of balance change if the target itself changed? Say, instead of shooting at an apple, maybe now I'm shooting at a pineapple, balanced on top of an apple... :semi-twins: Are you wondering what the heck I'm talking about?

The palidan will have low damage and ability power. 'tis a support class, not a damage class.
I have a feeling like the ranger will be relitively weak to mages because of the possibly low health and melee weapons.

Or even better, take off x2 exp weeks exp + exp anywhere + Daily combo, just let Thrasher elixir for one week to see if someone can make it to 76, then reward him/her with a vanity helm that have stats like founders, sound challenging, rite ?

Everything is great StS but the only thig that disappointed me is Dun Dun Dunnnnnn the same holiday gear :( The vanities are the same as last year and no new holiday weapons except for some 2010s dropping here and there. Just some constructive criticism don't hate, I insanely love the fox though its insanely fun :)
