I don't know what on earth happened to my Mac, but it just lagged so bad, so I rebooted it. Then, when I tried to start it up, my Mac is STUCK on the Apple logo, and the spinning wheel! For numerous HOURS. I don't know what the *ahem* happened!

Using MacBook, black edition.

I am using PC (on my Mac) from BOOTCAMP. So the BOOTCAMP disk starts up, but NOT the HD Macintosh one!

Anyone know what the *ahem* is going on?

Bless

do you have a repair disc/ or bootable drive with repair tools on it (USB Drive) if so get into boot options (usually a prompt at first start up of the computer) ((It is with PC not sure with MAC))

Anyway go to options select boot configuration and select boot from disc/USB

Agreed,

Do you have another computer? you may be able to get repair files off the internet and on to another drive. Also go into boot options and make sure that your boot order is in line, and try to think if you have changed/altered any files on your computer that might have been important in the last couple of days, we might be able to figure it out from there.

I'll just try to find the CD for OS X Lion, and restore it. :)

Hmmm... I don't know if I'm right, but you might've overheated your laptop, and fried the hard drive. Happens with game systems and other laptops. It's already overheated, but the next time you turn on, it'll keel yer cohmpewtur.

Mac. One single screw is a bit loose and the whole machine says "I quit, repair me" for 500 bucks.

Haha, I'm wrong then XD! If you didn't cause the computer to shutdown (accidental causes like spilling water), I think Apple covers it.
