Seems like it's more than just a kapow. Together with my "what-used-to-be" acceptable internet connection, the experience was filled with unforgettable disconnects and a series of "brb I have to take out the trash" just to make an excuse.
Highest ping you guys had? :)

I think I reached somewhere around 140,000 before the server gave up on me. I could be mistaken though. I'll keep track of it next time.

Had a little more than that in Kraag. Your ping just keeps going up forever when your connection crashes.

I once had a ping of seven days. I was so dehydrated and undernourished when they found me half drowned, naked and scared in a pool of my own filth.
