Whoever makes it to level 76 on a Ranger or Paladin by 12:00 Noon Central US time on Monday, December 17th will have their name recorded into the halls of fame here on the Official Pocket Legends Forums and also receive the Overachiever's Vanity Helm.

Just putting this out there, but this is the last straw for me. The game has completely retrogressed back into a pay-to-win game. It was fun while it lasted, but don't expect to see me in-game anytime soon.

Not to criticize anyone, but i honestly will have more respect for those who are leveling their new classes pure (except daily 5min 3x). I say this cause we are the ones taking time to enjoy the classes and learn our skills and rolls in a group. I member when i first started i played as a warrior and grinded day and night to reach 66 cap and only used trash can punches. I enjoyed learning how to play my roll and not just reaching the cap for bragging rights, but to say "look i made it and actually earned it". I see rangers and rhinos at 50+ with maybe 8 deaths and 4000 or so kills. Im lvl35 with almost 5k kills and 28-30 deaths. To me thats better stats cause ive actually been playing the levels i was meant to and still havent been slaughtered severely. Anyways thats my 2 cents, but if your going to make the 76 by monday, congrats, good luck, and no hard feelings. Just member how much money youll spend just to get youre name on a website that might not be around forever and for a little vanity hat. See you in game

Sorry to say, but Sam's first post on this said exactly what you were getting. You were not mislead. Seems as if some of you feel the need that you MUST (at any cost) achieve any challenge thrown at you. You need to learn to say no if and when you don't think the reward is worth the cost.

I went for it...maybe not hard enough the first 2 days, I thought I could knock it out today but the day went by so quickly! Bad ping-lag didn't help either, my wi-fi sucked big time. I could still play on my iPhone 5 on LTE but still ran out of gas. I made it to lvl 75 in 2 days but that 100,000 xp climb of Mt Everest was too much.

The egg wasn't as hard cause it was 71-76....actually that was tough enough. It was a lot of fun tho....reminded me of the sewer dayz....grinding xp like mad.

Also: I got screwed over on the daily blessings...I got armor twice...was hoping for a 3x or 1.5x or xp bonus

Well, I skipped on this race and I'm not mad or dissapointed.
I just wished that people would get a reward for capping their rhinos or foxes in a timeframe that can be done without using plat.
So people wouldn't have the feeling like everything is plat based.
But maybe that would lower the plat sales, I don't know.

Anyways I'm not doing these races anymore.
They got me with the egg, but there magic castle still did work.
Congrats to all that capped but I feel sorry for the reward u got.
I know they might try and fix it, maybe make this helm a special part of an elite set?

Well I guess race wasnt worth it anyways I got to 76 on my rhino last night and didnt get any helm at all? Are they waiting till after the time limit to give or is there some weird glitch. I did race to 76 for dragon egg and I got that right away since it was an achievement that came with the item. No achievement for doing on rhino or vixen so I'm curious. I doubt they would make players spend 1600+ plat and not give them helm as promised.

You were offered a reward IF you capped in 3 days. Nobody is forcing you to do anything. You are not even forced to play Pocket Legends.

Congrats to all who made it....Ebafoxx too! Made it in just before it closed....initially it was only nine players. 6 rhinos & 4 foxes!

I've been trying to cap my fox in the top 10 Rangers or top 20 at least...but that 100k xp is murder! The xp bar does not move! :-/
I have even more respect for those who got the overachiever or anyone who caps at all for any class.

I was struggling with the Egg quest as well on the last level but at least I got that one done.

Finally made it in...that hurt! It was brutal as usual to finish off the last level before cap. Hopefully I made the top ten of capped rangers XD. It would be cool to see a list of capped new characters placings like the Egg one. Whomever makes it should post here...I'd be interested.

My goal is to have all classes with glory rings, so i would have done it anyway, with or without this race. I actually could have capped my char even before this race announcement if i didnt take a day off coz lazy, or to have both chars on this list

Many people will cap their fox or rhino later, before the next cap arrive, and for many people it will cost them the same amount of platium as we did, it is just that at the time of this race they didnt have time all at once to make it, or were busy enjoying winter festival, hunting elites, pvp...
But to think that capping within this period cost hughly much more than capping laterz, u have mistaken.

I saved an amount of time which i spend on job and get paid many times the cost of platium i spent to get character to 76, i was better off.

No disrespect, but I think you are mistaken.

I already capped my bird a while ago but now that I am grinding my mage from 75 to 76, taking your time is a lot cheaper. Whenever i get the 24 hour 3x daily combos, you can do a heck of a lot of XP farming without spending ANY platinum. Also, any double XP weekends or the like that come up in the future will also make the job a lot easier too. Your assessment ignores the daily combos and special XP events. Farming in the meantime gets you a lot of gold while also generating XP.

You paid platinum to save time, that is all. Nothing wrong with that, but i dont think the cost will be the same if you took advantage of the dailies and special events over time.

Amusement is right here right now,i dont feel any fun if i have to wait and lurk days to months to save few platium and feel there always is something undone in mind, get 1.25 or 1.5 (combo or exp) elix is pretty easy, thats fast enough. Plus waiting for 3x combo mean u HAVE TO play that day, u never know if u will have enough free time on that day.
