Distance of Weapons?

Hi all I just wanted to know how to tell the distance of a weapon? Some ppl say that xbows and crossbows have longer range than bows but HOW DO THEY KNOW??? Also, if anyone knows, what are the distances for bows, longbows, xbows, crossbows, guns, etc. :highly_amused:

EDIT: Some ppl know like the "m" that the weapon can go. Ex. 10m, 12m distance, etc. Anyone know?

The way I tell is shoot enemies from different distances with different weapons. I really don't know the range of weapons, but I can say this:

Bows = shortest range ranged weapon
Crossbows = second farthest
Talon = similar to bow
dagger = melee (hand to hand combat basically)
Guns, blasters, and blunderbuss's = farthest range

Talon have shorter range than bow i think.

Its like Range: Gun>Xbow>bow>talon
12m-11m-10m-8m or something like that
