@Tilax xD

@Energizeric It's just extra damage you do to enemies.. pretty simple..

Take your base damage and multiply that by bonus % then add that to the base damage. That's what I'm thinking anyway.

its is interrelated with dmg bt nt dps. it effects ur skill dmg only. bettter bonus dmg nd dmg greater is ur skill dmg.

See my posts in here. Damage, bonus damage %, DPS, Skill Damage, and weapon attacks per second (or attack speed) explained

Yes, I read your post, but you don't actually explain anything about bonus damage %, and you never use it in any of the calculations you perform there. You only mention what it is with each of the 2 weapons. I want to know what it means, or does. For example, lets suppose that I had 200% bonus damage instead of the 150%, which other stats would change and by how much?

Sorry, had made two big posts in that linked thread. Here is the second

Bonus damage is built into the Damage. If you take a flame strike rod, and divide DPS / Damage you get Attacks per second (Atk/s) you will see all Flamestrike rods do 1.8 atk/s, while other rods/guns do 1.1 or 1.3 atk/s. so if you take 90 Dps Flamestrike /1.8 atk/s the avg damage of a Flamestrike is 49/50 damage. So the average damage of your (weapon + damage from ring/amulet)*bonus damage = approximately your Damage. Approximate because it is within a couple points, there must be someone else there that STS isn't telling us...I'm hoping to get a response from them on this...

Edit - you have to be careful cause weapons now say 90 DPS, not damage. So you apply the damage bonus to the average damage of weapons, not the DPS. The important part is you can get the atk/s of a weapon by DPS/Damage. also. There is a difference between attacks per second and attack speed. Attack Speed = 1 / Attacks Per Second

Since Damage and DPS are spelled out specifically I'll try to update my google doc file with the Atk/s of different weapons. Etc.

Thanks! You noticed exactly what I did is that there is always a variance of a couple of points on that calculation. I guess there is something STS is not telling us....or this... I've noticed the damage number always comes out slightly higher than it should be, so I'm guessing that possibly all the other numbers are rounded down, but the actual real non-rounded numbers are what are used in the calculation, so we end up with a slightly higher damage number.

What I think STS needs to do is stop listing DPS for weapons, and instead list both the speed and dmg, just like they do in PL.

Yep, I was also thinking it may be adding in the base 1 damage you do with no weapon, but that 1 damage is also multiplied by your bonus damage...that may make up for the 1-2 damage delta???

Edit> nvm i forgot the calculation is generally just slightly higher than Damage shown...so opposite of above lol

I really wish STS was more revealing. Not only would it be fun for theory-crafting, but also it would allow users to help spot bugs because of more transparency to the numbers
