I think you are confused. He is talking about frost set aka platinum armor or get the vanity set. Not the pet lol.

But my opinion is go with vanity because


1) frost vanity is limited (what they say but you know sts itll be release next yr in dec)
2) If next patch ugly costumes come out for normal gear than you got a vanity set to hide it
3) Never goes away so no matter how long you play its yours
4) looks smexie
