Vanity is for looks man, it doesn't affect your stats at all. If you want any plat sets I would go with the 70 Plat one (if you can afford it), it's the one I'm using now until all the top Elite Sets start dropping.

I would cap before you buy the elite sets. They are the level that you buy them at.

Wouldn't the pack scale?

If you buy it at Lvl. 20 the pack will be 20, and so on. What Prack is suggesting is simple to wait until you turn 21, to buy it. As it will be the best bang for your Plat. But that's all up to you!

The chest contents scale at the time it is opened, but the items themselves do not scale as you level... ie an item you opened at lvl 15 will forever be 15... the plat chests function in the same manner as most other chests, the chests yield items relevant to your character level.

It would be cool if they scaled with your character ( much like heirloom items in wow do) and considering they cost as much as they do, I think they should, it's not like they yield the best in game items anyways.

Now, I suggest the winter fury bundle... and here's why.

Cost is 70plat... what you get

50 inventory slots, bought separately is 30plat
10 auction slots, bought separately is 75plat
25k gold, bought with plat is 25plat
Plus you get 200 pots, legendary helm, armor and weapon.

So basically you get 10 auction slots for 5 plat cheaper than regular and then everything else free... by far the best deal to be had in this game. Plus you are guaranteed legendary... no "chance" to get legendary, it's a for sure. I have done this with each character simply for the auction slots, and plat is easy to get for cheap or free from the trialpay offers.
