Fnord?

Can someone please explain to me the deal with several characters having their names end in "-fnord" or "fnord"? I just don't get it.

Back a while ago, we had 2 realms (servers) alterra and fnord, all the fnordians got a "-fnord" next to their names after fnord merged, they also got a free character rename so few still have the "-fnord" next to their names. Those who do are true blood fnordians.

Back when they had the two servers, it was funny, because everyone in Fnord would laugh at Alterra for having a laggy server, and everyone in Alterra would laugh at Fnord for having a small server, now they merged, and Alterra won the battle;) now we have a big *** serever. :)

There used to be two servers to choose from, Alterra (the current realm) and Fnord, characters with -fnord are ones from the old fnord realm who haven't renamed yet.
