OK, so I was wondering how the stuff in your stash is organized.
It's not by rarities, order you stashed it in, or classes. So I was wondering how:D

I don't think it has a natural pattern, like new stuff always goes on bottom. Usually when I notice a pattern to what I put in and how it is in stash, I find the exception to the rule.
That's why I have 10 mules, one for every 10 levels.

I find stuff I just put in in the middle of 100 things and I wonder how it got there

Yeah I can't use my stash, I collect a lot. My OCD freaks out. I also have CDO cuz that's the correct order.

OK here is what I thought......

1st I thought its was in the order of time/date you put the item in the stash (Turns out when you put in stash it has a possibility of be put in any random order)

Then the rest I thought the order was Base off of Rarity, level, requirements but these were really off. Closes I got was the time/date order but recently was proven wrong. I will try do some more test runs on the stash but Devs comments would really help. I also really believe in the idea of inputting a search mechanism at the top of the list in the stash. Until then stash is really a mystery to me.

Anything new stashed will go to the bottom. Sometimes it randomly goes to the middle or top though O.o

When you put things in your stash, they go in the order that you put them in. But once you leave and come back, for whatever random reason, it may randomize your stash. I tried arranging everything in it once, came back and it was in an order that made no sense.

It only cost 5plat plat to make your toon, which comes with 50 slots, so say your making lwsandstone right, i would just level up my toon to l25 then lock him, then i would just stash all the sandstone pinks on him, so if u ever need any sandstone u just log in on your toon then just throw them in your stash then log back on your normal toon, the most your goin goin to pay per toon u make is 5-10plat, because thats 50-100 slots and there def.not over a 100 sandstone pinks. Its easy organization

Maybe those NPCs running the Stashes use your items when you are sleeping and go adventuring. That's how they make their money.

They replace them afterwards but they sometimes get the items out of order. Mostly in the order you put them in, but when they get used overnight, the merchants forget how to put them back in order LOL :)

I don't even take them past lv 4, it would be a hassle unless you also wanted to farm with it. If you were farming with it you'd have to pick through stuff when I liquidate. Around 15 lv4 mules here.

There's no predictable pattern. A newly stashed item is more likely to be on the bottom, but it ends up elsewhere often enough to be unpredictable. My theory is that the order is based on the underlying data structure being used, which is why it seems random because the "order" is based on something we can't see like the node the item is stored in. Some kind of inventory-like organization scheme is long overdue for stash, but for some reason they just won't do it.

No farmin just storage, leveling them up to the level items u have is just so u can wear them ,for the looks. Its nice to see lwsandstone wearing sandstone gear :) also i dont farm i just get from cs
