I'm just curious. Has anyone ever gotten a legendary from a plain old copper chest? ( elite or banded). I have always wondered why people buy them from the ah when thry give you greens

I think it's impossible to get one, but I know I've gotten better things off of the silvers than the golds. I literally have about 3-4 coppers in my inventory. Don't know what to do with them.

I got around 2 legendary in copper chests before the update (not banded), but you can open over one hundred copper chests and find nothing useful. And, I think you have to be really lucky to find a pink in an elite copper chest(I opened ten legendary golden chests and found nothing).

Pretty sure it is possible. I recall getting a legendary from an elite copper. There seems to be a massive drop in chance though.

I've gotten a Flamestrike rod from an elite copper before. Its possible, just a very low chance.

Ive gotten about 3 pinks in elite copper. Now that I think about it most of my legendary items came from either elite silver or elite copper. However non elite copper seem to be a waste of gold

I just sell my elite banded copper chests in CS because it's around 5-7k

I got a pink from an elite copper chest prior to the update. It only happened once, but I remember it was a really good pink too, something that sold for like 200k or so. I forgot which item though, but this was when we were farming level16 items.

Wow.. People are already rich due to their luck.. I swear I'm about to stop playing MMO's because from what it seems, i've never been lucky in any....

theres is NO such pink from normal/elite copper from the current event. Those people who CLAIMS getting pinks are from the early release.

Got 2 pinks from Copper chest so far, but that from opening around 90+ Copper chest. You can get pinks but the rate is extremely low.

So is elite gold II chest same as the banded that you get from elite dungeons or the gear not as great in them or lower chance

Elite Chests II have the "old" armors lvl 16, in lvl 20 and 21 varieties, and weapons, of course. But the Elite Banded Chests have the new demonlord armor for each class, and some new weapons, for example, the pit sword for a warrior.

Wow.. People are already rich due to their luck.. I swear I'm about to stop playing MMO's because from what it seems, i've never been lucky in any....

Don't worry, I have hardly been "lucky". I must have opened a couple hundred chests at least since I started playing AL, and I think I've gotten 7 or 8 pink items. 3 of them were pretty good and worth more than 100k, with the best one being worth around 900k. But instead of selling that one, I traded it for my Demonlord Robe of Security that I'm currently wearing. So at this point in time I'm still pretty poor, but I got a couple good items. Just keep trying, you'll get some good items if you are persistent enough. But if you gather 10 chests and are hoping to strike it rich, the odds are way against you.

IMO i think copper chests give moar luck for a pink then golden&silver combined O.o just my luck:)

Just got mighty vorpal sword of tactics today from elite copper II during jarl farming. Thats the beauty of rng, you never know what to expect. :)

And its also the worst part... I farmed for 8+ hours over 2 day period and 4 hours later in the week once, I got 1 pink worth ~10k... I have since then took a break from AL till cap or PvP.

It seems my luck from PL has carried over into this game. Sadly cause it sucks...

Best pinks i had gotten was Legend Band Of Potency from Copper Elite Chest and Mighty Vorpal Sword of Tactics(lvl 20) from Silver Chest! :D

Probably Gold Chest hates me! :sorrow:

I got demonlord helm of security from elite copper banded chest about a week ago from farming tower so yes it is possible!
