View Full Version : Virtual joystick and chat box on iPad
Can you lower the virtual joystick on the iPad, every time im in a full group i tend to keep hitting the last name thats on the group list (i use the joystick at its largest size). I would also like to have the chat box at the top like the iphone version, i miss alot of chat because my hand covers it during play, or make it an option at least....thanks

I totally agree... I was just about to post the very same thing myself.
I've been an iPhone player for several months and just got an iPad and was really excited about playing PL on it. It is brilliant but to have the virtual joystick above half way up the left had side seems odd. I too kept hitting the last name in the group listings and I also feel it makes holding the iPad a little more unstable it being above half way. Personally I'd like to see it either at half way or lower (I don't use the social emotes so that part of the screen is empty for me). If options are the way to go, perhaps have where it is for those that are used to it, half way and then towards the bottom...

Good job I didn't post a new topic myself then on this, or I'd be getting evil stares too.
It's interesting though that so many people have mentioned this over several months but to date it's not been implemented, despite seeing (I'm sure) the agreement from a dev that it would be. That's OK if it's not been done previously, but let's see if we can prompt for it to be added next time.

I hate to "re-bump" this post (actually, no I don't) but does anyone have any idea whether the development team will look at this request? It's very "unstable" playing with the iPad at the moment and it would enhance the playability 100 fold if implemented IMO.
Please, please, please devs, get to this... surely it's something that could be done very simply?
