For the past few days i have been farming mardrom tower elite, burning tons of potions everytime.
During these runs, i have encountered quite a few very arrogant lvl12s. they call me noob (which doesent particularly bother me) when i die, ignoring the fact that im the one that i was the one that dared to aggro the mob and burn even more pots . Today, during a run where i was the only lvl20 (the rest was lvl21) one of the other guys started harrassing me for no apparent reason. We had killed lord mardrom, but he kept telling me how bad i was and that i sucked at this game.
I used lots of potions during that fight since the boss had aggroed on me (i dont mind that, i have enough potions).
I am not saying that all lvl21s are arrogant, i have met many nice players that have reached the levelcap.
These people are just annoying, and you cant even boot them from your game :grumpy:.
Has anyone else experienced something similar?

But seriously... One of the problems with online games is that anonymity allows for immature people to do these sorts of things. I don't see as much of it, but ill run into jerks every now and again.

Most of my toons are 20 just cuz I don't have a ton of time, and for what it's worth I'm not afraid to tell a level 21 they suck if they do... I'm generally nice, but if an idiot pulls a whole extra pack of elites for no reason and causes a wipe on something as pathetic as jarl, I'm blasting them...

Ahh i hate that aswell its so annoying specially when you have to spam pots in order to not die, and its all because someone tried to be a Hero.

I know how to Play elite and avoid drawing huge crowds of mobs, some players are arrogant nevertheless.

Well, there is probably a 10 percent of understandable people like us on forum, while other 90. Not so well.

I am one to say things like that. But only if you truly deserve it (reset boss, ect) and since you were tanking you probably don't.

Aed is right it's hard to make sure your shots go at the right mob. It can get really annoying at times.

Shadow Pierce lol. Love how it's so annoying by just zooming past elite jarl and tickling those mobs behind him :D

this, when I first started doing elites, I admit it took a failed run or two before I realized that shadow piece is not your friend in elites. even if you are fighting multiple enemies, if there is another pack close, there is a chance you can jump to one of them. rogues be warned.

After seeing this thread i thought da update removed the mute button. so i log into game bt i saw mute button.
Dude use mute button nd put'em to ignore list :-D

If you want to prove the point that you pull aggro, then start running away from the bossfight and watch the boss follow you. I had warriors tell me I was a crappy player, and I would just say "fine, I'll leave" and walk away from the boss fight, the boss would follow and reset. Then when they complain I would ask why they didn't taunt and get aggro back. They had no answer.

There are always gonna be ppl with big epeens in games like this, so alot of the time, you have to ignore it....
But... if everyone says you're doing something wrong, you might wanna rethink some stuff...
