I've seen this happen more often lately. The one was even weirder because it said blue won but red got the first kill. So technically red really should have won. (I might have the colors backwards but u get the point)

This happens all the time. Most commonly done by a bird ko something right at the exact second the tenth point is scored. Also 11kill games happen but it doesn't show. For instance the game is 9:9 and a bird uses blast shot which kills 2 mages instantly. Count the kills it's 11 but will only show up as 10.

It happens a lot on sl, with operatives because of the flames of insanity skill.
I'd assume it's mostly with mages or birds like a mage gets one last drain in and kills his/her opponent. Or te bird gets an auto in that'll kill or one last arrow shot

Usually happens in ffa conditions. You being an experienced pvper, I'm surprised it hasn't happened to you yet. I've seen around 7-8 tied games.
