I need a bit of help. I got my new iPod Nano 7th generation today and have no idea how to transfer my songs from my old iPod to my new one. I looked on Youtube but it just looks confusing to me. Does anyone know what to do here? I use iTunes btw.

Yes but when I go to the iTunes library, not all of my songs are always there.

I would double check to see that the option "all songs" are checked when you click on your device in iTunes.

Usually, when you first plug in your new ipod into itunes, it should say "restore from backup from ___ Ipod?" Because, i know it did that when i got my new Ipod after Christmas.. (I wasn't thinking, and pressed "No" lol)

If i understand u correctly.....

The songs are in your iPod but not computer there are a few reasons why.

1) U bought the songs on your old iPod and u need sync the old iPod and go into iTunes and transfer purchases. This will add them to your library.

2) U had the songs on your iPod then some how deleted them from your library. If the songs were purchased through iTunes, iTunes has a few ways they can be recovered. If the were from other sources my understanding is u CANNOT transfer the song from an iPod to iTunes. (or u never could in the past...ive tried)

Usually the songs I buy are always on iTunes and they are. The missing songs are from other sources so that's the problem but I'll try to see if I can transfer them.
