ok, as most of you guys who read my previous thread know im looking for some kite shields. So, i make a game of AO1 Map 1. My friend qwertyson decides to join the game because he wants to show me a item he got. He shows me that he got those updated djinn blade of thoth. Not 10 seconds later, he opens a chest and you know what he got? a kite shield.
On my first game of farming he decides to join. Ill post a screenie of it soon.
Boy was i pissed.

Did you ask him for it? They aren't worth much anymore, and they're hard to sell. I would've given you it, doesn't mean anything to me, and I was a lucky you know what;)

Lol, no, they're more commonly dropped by mobs and the occasional treasure chests.

Nope, I've never heard of a boss dropping a kite.

I asked him for it but he wouldn't give it. I just farmed all the chests in that map about 40 times and all I got was starry leather armor.... I'm done for the day but I promise I'll get that darned shield tomorrow >:(
