Skills hitting crates, vases, green goob on the ground, etc.

Scenario: I'm facing an enemy, next to it is a vase... I charge lightning, and it strikes on the vase instead.
Suggestion: Is it possible to make just the attack button hit inanimate objects, and not any skills?

Also (i think this may have been mentioned on another thread), but why are those green thingy on the ground a target? (e.g. in hauntlet and other maps were zombies spawn...)

The crate waaay at the edge of my screen explodes.
