All my progress undone!

My IGN is Wowsome and I started as a warrior, reached level 8, and it was going pretty great. I was playing on Chrome browser and left my laptop for few minutes. When I came back the machine had got auto-locked. I tried logging in after coming back and saw that I am redirected to the initial screen where you choose a warrior type.

Please help restore the account! Thanks and let me know if I should provide any information.

Resolved: I had signed into Gmail account X at the start on the browser and signed in to AL with Google account Y. In between I signed in to Gmail account Y on the browser, and then the laptop got auto-locked. I signed back into Gmail account X on the browser and got everything back. Just curious, why is AL sign-in linked with the current active Gmail account on the browser (apart from the Google account used for AL?
