Hi guyz, I know you were pretty excited about the coming of new passives, but I would advice you not to spend your precious skill points on them because they add so low. If you are a warrior have 1000 armor, durable will give you only 50 aemor more at the cost of 5 skill points, even at 2000 armor, you get only 100 extra.Walking speed 5% is very low...I think it should be atleast 15% to do effext.Crit shot(+5% ),knowledge (+25 intel), might(+25 str) and the ones that gives 5% more damage (it should be 10 ), and +25 dex are the only good ones. Invest them into skills to create alternative skill set for character...like different set for healing, different for tanking, different for max damage. many players have saidnthis before that Juggernaut cooldown is too long,,i feel that also but if it is very short then warriors will be OP class.30 sec should be enough. Another alternative is Rally cry it gives 7.5 % damage reduction and 25% dodge to whole group for 8 sec. and cooldown is 10 sec. which means you only have to wait for 2 secs to reuse it.I think it is also a little low and damage reduction should be 10%. Damage reduction is constant.1% per 25 armor. while damage dealt is a variable and can change according to critical, skill and enemy armor.

It really depends on your build , for me if i dont pump passives there might b more den 4 skills and not enough slots ^_^

Yeah, the % based passives aren't that powerful right now, but will be as we continue to level in the future. This has been discussed a lot already, even by the devs. You're kinda late to that party, hehe. ;)

5% Passives is a huge amount, especially later in in the game. Remember it's only 21 Cap. (And them not showing on the character screen doesn't help just yet)

Wait till Lvl 50/100 ;)

Find me the quote ;)

The next cap raise is 26, doesn't mean it will be the last.

After level 36, the level cap raise won't be as frequent they said. Of course the level cap will be more than level 36 lol

Thanks for making this clear, But clearly walking speed passive is low because it does not increase over time, I need walking spees to Finish long or timed dungeons quickly. It should be 15% walking speed. +3% per upgrade

15% walking speed would be like being on Lix at all times.

Not going to happen, since you can compile this with pet speed which is another 12% = 27% Speed at lvl 21.

Passive skill, your character type bonus points, is perfect. On warrior, I get +25 Str with them. It's amazing. The rest, meh, ain't good.

I spent points on speed, an honestly the difference is insignificant.
At least I know now. I won't bother with that passive anymore, there are better uses of the sp than that.
I had to try it though.
this game is much slower than SL is.

The pssives will become very wonderful in the future. Especially in PvP. A rogue with the passive str will have a surprising amount of heal. This would melo a rogue greatly. It all depends on the build you are looking for.

Combine that with elixir (+25%), pet bonus (15%), skill boost (+10%), passive (5%) and boom!!, you get an athlete with approx 60% walking speed boost, you jelly on hauntlet

The elixir speed boost does not stack with skill speed boosts (at least not the one from Gale). I would test out what stacks and what doesn't before you get too excited :pI have a feeling the elixir boost may be a speed cap or something.

25% is the maximum of speed currently

You need to learn how to read prop. It was an example on what the OP was saying...

I dont get it. For my experience, 25% is the cap of speed buff now.

my point is ,no matter how do you apply the buffs the pets or passive, there is always a cap.
btw, I was just stating a fact, it is a simple fact, do not make it too complicate.....

If there is a walking speed cap of max 25% then what is the point of having pets and passives to boost speed? klaas will give you elixor anyway. this game is so unbalanced o_O :'( :-\

Delirium

..because some people may want that speed without having to pay platinum or hope for a random elixir from Klaas.

If each class's base stat is upgraded in passives (ex: warrior's might), the results could be quite impressive. You should try it sometime, Sharaobic. :)

I was thinking for going might and knowledge ( for mana problems) then at later in the game go durable

Vengeful Blood should take care of any warrior's mana problems. :)

I wouldn't say "never". Frost was plat only (still is according to the description), but now can be bought or obtained from Klaas.

You both jumped the gun, and misinterpreted, read below.

Never found his egg in Auction house.

Horton was never a Plat pet to begin with, typo, meant Hazel.
