Wat is your favorite pet?!?!?!

Im looking into new pet to buy but not sure which one I want so I figured to check out other peoples pet and why u guys like ur pets best

Well diff pets are for diff playstyles. For example if you're a dodgey rogue, Esteban is good. If youre a dps Mage, Colton is cool.

My fav is Malison or Granite and maybe a bit of Horton. Because I (as a rogue) like crazy dps and crit but hey that's just me :)

I like Flap Jack for the regen and damage and Deston for towns and easy maps (speed). I'm going for Colton, because it's arguably the best sorcerer pet for maximum sorcerer-ness.

I dont have a favorite, i have favorites:

Shiloh/Deston - speed (used in Elite Tower, if the group decides to skip ground floor)
Flap Jack/Granite -mana regen/stun is effective on flap
Frost/Bligh - for AOE damage
Colton - how I wish to get you soon

-Flap Jack for leveling low level toons...from about level 10 on a Sorc has too much mana for Regen from pets to make a difference. at level 16 your spells cost almost 100 mana on average and you can pop them off in a couple of seconds (400mana cost + 16 restored) Health/mana regen should be % based not flat values.

If a typical Elite Jarl run takes 90 seconds, and flap jack has +8 mana regen, that means 90 seconds x 8 mana = 720 extra mana regenerated. That's enough for 7 additional skill spells, or enough to basically save you a couple mana pots. I find when I use Nexus or Flap Jack, I never need mana pots. Otherwise I almost always do.

90 seconds - 10 for running in. a potion restores approximately 26% of your mana. I'm at 3170 so i'm getting around 835 mana from a pot. I'll take the damage boost over saving 13.5g on a potion. especially since i get so many from Klaas now.

Best pet by far is Colton! Everything from his 5-target stun passive, the 15% crit group buff, and the crazy stats make him the best pet for a Sorcerer. I honestly don't pull out my other pets any more... it's just short-changing myself.

Liking clyde now, my crit is 10.8% and when I drop time I see a spam of crit (just like activating colton). His power is nice (freeze for 1-2 seconds), and it works on bosses!

I primarily have been using Clyde and Colton. I agree with some of the other such as malison, kettle and flap jack. I do have one more I have grown to like a lot which is Aspen. Aspen gives good all around stats and for a short time with the 15% damage boost you can deal out more damage than Colton at end game now.

I think one thing us mages needs to keep in mind is as the caps are raised the % base pets will become better than pets that give raw stat numbers such as Clyde. This leads me to believe that pets like Aspen and Flap Jack will become the best along with Colton.
