It's because the flag does damage to the person holding it, so if it gets your damage to 0, you basically die.

Yea this happened to me and started laughing. Then i realized the flag does it. I think its.for more strategy, say a warrior with more hp has.flag while mages/rogues follow and heal/kill tryin protect. This is not what i was.doin i was just tryin kill lol

ooo..i think some of my deaths should be attributed to this. LOL.

Yea. I think it did like 35 damage (maybe dont remember...) every second or so to my warrior

ouch..35 damage per second to a warrior is not as significant as to a mage or rogue considering most rogues/mages have like 1/3 hp of a warrior. Maybe I shouldn't take the flag next time. LOL.

Yeah, as a mage with the flag it adds up quickly... to the point that if you run into anyone you're pretty much guaranteed to die.

It is annoying me. When you chase someone with a flag for the whole map, then you get them down to really low health and the flag kills them. All that work to get a kill, then it is stolen by the flag. -.-

nd btw if u got da flag y u should run into groups to kill rather run to goal :-P
this CTF will b really needing a mind-set strategy :-D

I think flag should do damage according to your class... Aka warrior gets more damage then mages would when holding the flag... Would probably balance it out slightly more
