Wiki-what-now?

Hey folks,

One thing we would love to encourage and support is an off-site PL wikipedia.
We are kicking around some ideas for a new contest. One contest could be for most entries, most comprehensive entry, etc.

So a couple of questions:

1) What do you think about this?
2) What PL Wikipedias are out there, and which one should we promote?

I think it's an awesome idea. As soon as one is recognized as the "main" (not necessarily official) wiki, I will be happy to contribute. The only real wiki I am aware of is the one linked in that sticky thread. Kingofhurtz said he was going to start another, but he never posted an address...

I think the idea for the contest might be easy to get around, I think the people that get ahead of it from the start could take all the easy jobs, and also, could do them sloppy, personally I think it'll make the sight all jumbled up and I could see it starting controversy, but just my opinion.

I know of one, pl-clopedia I think, I can not find the link anywhere on iPod ATM, if I get to a comp I'll find it. :)

I'll be happy to contribute to the site when it's stated which one is the "main" but I don't like the idea as a contest personally. :)

Well you guys just ended a contest yesterday. But hey if you want to hand out more shields that's fine with me ;) Anyway...I think its a great idea with this contest it would be a win-win. The wiki gets a lot of extra info and we get prizes.
