Ranger skill does not "fire off"

I have been playing my ranger for a while now, and I've noticed that the skill Armor Shredder does not always fire off. I have changed its placement in my skill map, tried a different device, and even removed the screen protector, and still doesn't always activate. It's so bad as to be almost useless, since I can't count on it working. Actually in surprised when it does go off. :-/

I am normally using an iPad2 with latest iOS, but I have also used iPhone 4, again with latest iOS, also with the same results. I'll try later with an android device.

I had the same problem (75 fox). Move closer to your target and try again. It only has a 3m range, which means you'll practically have to stand almost on top of your enemy before you can fire it.

If you're a little too far away, the skill just doesn't register when you press it.

Ahh haa! Thanks!! Hmmm, kind of defeats the purpose of being a "ranger" though?? Close in combat would seem to be more appropriate for a rogue.
