Today I was stupidly trying to level my enchanteress up alone (got bored of waiting for guests to show up), blitzkriegly got my *** wiped by them psycho-yetis, and as I was struk down by the B.E.S ( Big Evil Smurf), I hit the Revive trigger instead of the awesome instant miracle one I don't have yet,

and lo and behold,

after going down I was offered my own rez spell, accepted it, got revived, and (almost) killed the B.E.S.

Awesome.... Ish...

There is a delay, between casting and the actual reviving.

What I think happened is, AmonRaa casted revive accidentally, and died after that.
Then the revive spell took place, and all dead party members (aka AmonRaa) got revived.

Its like like throwing a phoenix down in the air, getting shot, then letting the pohenix down fall on you and res you. =p

yes, if you cast revive and then get struck down, since it's a zone spell, your corpse gets showered by your own magic. I did it a couple times but lag might be a factor too.

I've done this to myself half a dozen times or so. I have a bad habit of rushing into the fray to revive some dumb warrior who went alone into a huge mob, and often I end up reviving myself as well :)
