I recently restored my iPad because something very wrong happened to it....the screen was black and only the apple logo was in the center. nothing moved, nothing. Anyway, that was fixed, but the downside is that I lost all my apps, and most of them I actually paid for it
I ALSO LOST COD ZOMBIES D: D: D: D: D:
someone please help me figure out how to retrieve them back!

If you paid for the apps login to itunes on your computer and they should be in you purchases and you can re download them for free.

I did back it up on iTunes, but it said an unknown error occured.
Either way, I finally know how to fix it :).

*facepalm* When was the last time you restarted your device? If you don't restart often, when it gets to the boot process (black screen with apple logo), it will take a crapload of time to basically get everything set up.
Moral of the story: don't freak out, restart often, turn backups on, and if this does happen let it sit for a while because it is working. If it doesn't work (even after a while, like 10 minutes), press and hold the lock button and the home button until it restarts again, and you should be good.
