Why is it when I buy a weapon say at 20k but three days later it ends up at 500gold? What is going on here? These are not noob items. These are lv 21 or lv 20. I'm feeling very hustled each time I buy something and then later when upgrading, it falls. If so, why aren't the demon lord or berserk items going down?

because demonlord are the rarer items. prob the item you bought was a item from the watch crates. that is why the price fell.

Some items are assumed best, or just Wanted for their stats/appearance/achievement or simply popularity in certain time. That's on 'demand' part, and then goes supply part - if an item is in abundance price gonna drop.

Doesn't make any sense. Seems too coincidental, and too precise when I need to upgrade. How can something be so well known drop that fast? Like the vorpal weapons for example. Another shady activity hovering over arcane legends... awesome. Even with 500k at hand I am now very in disbelief on what to buy, but instead wait.

everything is currently at a historic low with the next expansion coming in the near future so i wouldn't worry about it.

With the release of hammer jaw, crates are being opened at a ridiculous rate. The crates contain the dark watch sword of potency (I believe it's this one) which is slightly better than the vorpal with the same proc. So, the vorpal prices are dropping. That's my take at least.

YOu need to watch the market. There are a number of different items as I'm sure you know. For instance the Vorpals. Several versions with varying prices. YOu have to pay attention to the trends.

It may be up for 20k... but that doesn't mean its the value. It could mean that other auctions expired and the 20k is all that is left.

This makes perfect sense. (No rep left)

It's a free market and not in any way controlled by anyone. Prices drop when there are more people trying to sell the item than people who are buying them. When the items don't sell, people list them for lower prices until they sell. You would do the same thing if you had an item you wanted to sell.

So if you look up an item in the CS and there are 30 of them listen, you can make an educated guess that prices will drop. If there are 1 or 2 of them listed, then probably not going to drop.

That's how the market works. Use some sense, watch the market and know what's going on.

Supply and demand can't get more simpler than that.

Very simple.

The game is made for you to spend your real life dollars/euros.....this game is a ****ing joke....is a good damn casino and not a mmonrog

Lol one item, and as no a casino you don't have to pay or play if you don't want to.

Prob is...they advertise theyre pruduct as a gma e were you can play for free.......but that isa lie....you need real life money to pksay thids game.....and dont come with the fanboy atittude, you have to spendlots of real life moneyto play sts casino gsames.

Just fyi, i canttype because my twblet hasabug were i cant see what im typing, this is been acknowledge since the realese f thre game, but not hing done about it.....they though hammerjaw was more important -.-

Like the pvppatch......were you haveto paqy rl money to test their ****ing beta version

So if you like to gamble inmmo rpgsdont tell others its fine, this game was advertised as a mmo rpg game and not a ****ing bloody casino

Again it is one single item not required to play the game. Or nessicary to win. Also you don't have to enter the casino. That way no money leaves your pocket for no reason.

Plz refrain from raging or being angry in these posts, you will eventually recieve an infraction or ban. I am replying nicely and giving you the counter argument. Just debate calmly and post your argument with respect.

My take on it. I spend quite a bit of time at the auction terminal. I don't know why but it been my experience that drops happen in groups, meaning when I have something to sell, there is a bunch of people that are getting it too. Take an item at 20k, its been sitting there and higher for a while, but if I get one out of a box and go to sell it, 10-15 others go up for sale too, which I think are all new drops in the game.

I just think the drop system isn't as random as it could be. It tends to drop in groups over any time period. I.e. lokis dont come out for half a day then they're coming out run after run then nothing for a half a day. Same for elite banded golden chests.

Just my opinion, and I am probably waaaaay off base with it.

I used to merch in PL, and I noticed that as well. If there aren't any of an item listed in the CS, people are hesitant to list it and set the price themselves. Instead they wait for someone else to do it. So once one goes up, then another and another, etc..

Also, if there is one listed very high, and you undercut that one significantly, sometimes that causes a flood of them undercutting you. What is happening here is that people are worried that price is dropping and they panic to sell theirs before the price goes way down. If you have enough money, sometimes the best move here is to buy up the cheap ones, and then wait a couple of days as the price usually goes back up.

Unlike the stock market, there are no leading indicators, no financial statements from companies, etc. Instead we just have different items that have no value other than what people are willing to pay for them. So there is no way to predict what people will want other than looking at the items, see if they look cool, and also what stats they have. Then you have to judge how common they may be. That will determine the price most likely.

Supply & Demand. Items your probably buying are high in supply, but not a lot of people want them (demand). Demonlord and Berserker are rare drops meaning they are in low supply, high demand.
