If you cancel your order, your Platinum may be revoke (???)

Ok not sure where to post this so hopefully this is the right place. I've been looking over the free platinum offers and keep running into the "If you cancel your order etc" when it comes to subscription base offers. There really needs to be more detail written other than just that! I'm a bit confuse what "order" that you're NOT suppose to cancel. The trial period order? (in that case I agree the platinum should be revoke) OR the renewed order in which you pay full price after the trial period. Hopefully that isn't the case because that would be a scam in my opinion. Anyone knows or have experience to share? Thanks in advance. I like to get all the fine prints figured out before giving away my CC numbers if you know what I mean...:suspicion:

I have done the netflix trial, you do not have to ever pay for the full account to get the plat, I payed $0 and got all the plat from the offer.
I would assume this would be the case, although when I did this it was through tapjoy.
