Maintenance is complete and Dark Legends is back up and available.

Doomdoomdoom, your play experience may be improved as DL is now running on different (and slightly faster) hardware. Although, there are quite a lot of things involved with your internet connectivity that can affect your performance. Your mileage may vary.

DL is now running on different (and slightly faster) hardware.

The modern deployment method is cloud computing. In this way you don't have to buy hardware. You just push your services out to the cloud. No need to buy rack mount computers and store them in a colocation.

But, I thought STS uses AWS (Amazon Web Services)? A couple of years ago, I think Pocket Legends went down for a day because the Amazon cloud had a failure.

It is on Amazon's Elastic Compute Cloud Service. As I understand it, you can scale what processing power is behind the virtual host. That's my take as the non-tech Community Guy.

It seems that since this update my ping has improved pretty much, still get high ones a lot but also got under 200 for the first time since playing. :)
